I think this series is going to have a tonne of goals and it will probably come down to which goalie will put up the "1 or 2 goals against" game when it matters. A few months ago a contest between Fleury and Bryz wouldn't be a contest at all but on current form I'd expect Bryz to just edge it.

I think the Flyers will pick off one of the first two games on the road, but I wouldn't be surprised if the series goes to 2-2 by the time it is back in Pittsburgh. 1st choice: Flyers in 7 or Pens in 6 ...

Refs were horrible on both sides. Seems like they were nervous as fuck to pull the whistle out. Pens third goal was clear icing, and the non-offside call is just beyond me. I figured the OT winner was coming as the puck went around the net, Kunitz is just skating around and not going for it, making the defence go for it instead, and it started the play along the boards.

Not to worried though, as Pens have lost game one many times and just rebound from that.

Flyers come back from 2 and 3 goal deficits no problem, they have all year. This is the 3rd time (?) they've done it against the Penguins over the past month.

The refs (well the linesmen) were amazing haha but its not like I haven't been seeing that same crap all year.

Whats funny too is the pairing that was there was supposed to be "the best" from this year and many were expecting it was going to be one of the pairings for the cup finals.

Yeah let's not even talk about the refs, the Penguins were taking late runs at Timmonen the whole game, thankfully Orpik got called for hitting Briere way after the play.

Pretty impressive turnaround by the Flyers. I thought they were done, but they never gave up. Don't know if goaltending issues are going to plague them throughout the playoffs like last year. The game seemed chippy, and the refs weren't really doing much to stop it.

But everyone knows game 2 is more important than game 1. Still say Pens in 6 but I'm actually rooting for the Flyers because I like more of their players.
