I honestly dont think that hit had anything to do with it. 2 of the goals allowed by Huet should have been stopped, but he just let them go right past. Even the announcers made mention of it during the game. (The 2 i am refering to are Franzens (i think it was his) in the first, and then the goal right after the hawks PP goal. Both went top shelf which Huet is terrible at stopping. Your 5th goal was scored on a 5-3 against a rookie goaltender who has never played in a playoff game.

Honestly what won the wings this game was shitty goaltending on Huets part.

I agree they looked like shit...Passes werent were they needed to be, and there were alot of 2 on 1's in favor of the Wings. They didnt look like a team that wanted to be there to be honest.

He checked Havlat with a shoulder, he didn't leave his feet, Havlat put his head back down before Kronwall hit him. Kronwall didn't see Havlat and go "I'm going to try and knock him out," meanwhile, the Blackhawks are out there today tripping Hossa, slashing Hossa and Filppula, taking runs after plays are over at Kronwall, etc. TRYING to hurt people because they're a bunch of immature goons.

I lost all respect for the Blackhawks tonight.

I thought this was going to be a great series, forming a great rivalry, with great gameplay on both sides.

Instead, they proved today that they don't belong in the same arena with the Red Wings, neither talent-wise or mentality-wise.

The entire Blackhawk team and coaching staff should be ashamed of themselves right now. I have no more hope that this rivalry will be renewed, because it's not a rivalry when all that's happening is one team trying to instigate fights and penalties the entire time. I have no more respect for them, and I hope they just go back to anonymity and aren't in the conference finals for another 15 years. They don't deserve it.

I honestly hope the Hawks can step up and make a series out of it yet, or at least make it a great game 5, this is a rivalry that I think would benefit the NHL greatly and I'd like to see it become more competitive...just didn't look like that today though.

There's perfectly healthy rivalries in the NHL and if you don't realize that, then obviously I'm not the one whose knowledge of the NHL should be questioned. Shit, even when Columbus was getting their asses handed to them, they didn't act like dickheads.

At the end of the Canucks series Pat had said that it was a fun year, but because the networks were taking the finals over he wouldnt be able to do it. Eddie does all the games though, on Versus and NBC
