WVU plays 11 guys.. 7 are freshman. Kent St returns 4 starters from a team that has won the MAC regular season two years in a row, they are very experienced. Not an absolute shocker. But now the good games get going. Memphis/Belmont, Texas, Villanova, Syracuse all play. And then of course the three bigger games tonight.

Boy I love college basketball.

Hawaii looked great. I think they will be a tournament team for sure. They have the NYC player of the year at PG, a good point forward, and a great senior PG who kills it from 3-point range.

Yeah, I was watching that game this morning. Zane Johnson is a beautiful player to watch, as his game is just so smooth. I'm looking forward to tonights games.
 
RMU 69, St. Peter's 52

Four starters in double digits (Velton Jones - 19, Coron Williams - 13, Russell Johnson - 11, Lijah Thompson - 10) give the Colonials their second win of this young season. It was a two-point game at half before RMU blew it up open with a fury of three-pointers by Jones and Williams.

Williams has been on an unreal run since taking over for an injured and now suspended Karon Abraham and might actually be a better pure shooter than the former NEC Freshman of the Year. I'd still give Abraham the edge on defense however.

This team is shaping up to be a damn good one. Andy Toole will take his Colonials to face his alma mater Penn on Saturday.
