This was Orakpo's third season, so he doesn't count. Kerrigan had an excellent season, so it was nice to see him make the list. The thing I like most about him is that he always seems to be around the quarterback and never gives up- he goes just as hard the first play as he does the last.
Also, I think Roy Helu should be mentioned at running back. Some of the games, especially early when Hightower was still playing, he barely got any touches. I think you can count 11-12 games where he was really involved in the game plan from the stats. He finished just shy of 1,000 total yards, had three touchdowns and finished with a 4.2 carry average. By itself, those are solid numbers, but also factor in who his quarterbacks were- Grossman and Beck- and then the offensive line was in shambles due to injury.
And tight-ends were garbage this year, there aren't any better choices as those two mentioned earlier were the highest draft picks. No tight-end was drafted in the first either. Just a bad year for them.
