Theres been a few rumors and articles around it. They usually make an album an then do a 5 year hiatus. Maynard said something along the lines of his album are his children so he likes to watch them grow before making a new one. 10,000 days was released in 06 so this should be the year they put one out.

In the lead up interviews to the Big Day Out this month (I was at the Auckland Show :lesmug: The entire fucking stadium shook during the bass intro to Lateralus) he said that they have started work on the new album.
