Nah dude, I don't think the self-made player who worked his way up from the D-League and being released by multiple teams who just set an NBA Finals record for 3-pointers has enough drive and work ethic. If he just practiced his shot every once in a while, maybe he'd be something.

It's kind of funny how a lot of the media said they were disappointed from Lebron in this series and wish he dominated so much like he did last year against the Thunder.

I agree 100%. 14 points per game in the NBA finals for a player playing his first full season in the NBA is not enough. He should of shot at least 1000 jumpers after this loss and then locked himself in his hotel room and cried his eyes out until he puked. Not enough dedication. If I was a Spurs fan I would demand for his release right now. How dare he smile or have a drink after a game. Doesn't he know the city of San Antonio is upset?

On the other hand I'm sure Tim Duncan practiced his post moves on someone the same size as Shane Battier for at least three hours after the game. That guy is a true warrior and is probably still locked in a dark room thinking about this loss.

I believe he is the only player in history to put up those types of numbers in the finals. The crazy part is that he seems to put up those types of numbers with ease.

I like Lebron, easily the best player of the current generation. But that being said, while his numbers are very good, they are not untouchable like you make it sound. In Jordan's first Finals, he averaged 31/6.6/11.4 with 2.8 steals. All while shooting 55%, too.

MJ's average of all 6 Finals appearances is 33.6 (over 6 points better than LBJ), 6.0 (5 rebounds fewer), 6.0 (1 assist less), while shooting 48% (3% higher). That is pretty amazing considering you are comparing all 6 of Jordan's finals to only the best two of Lebron's. If you compared all 4, it wouldn't even be close.

That being said, I really like Lebron, but lets not go too crazy over him in a historical sense.
