this game was a fucking joke. no defense at all. indy allows 31 1st half points and the chiefs allow 35 2nd half points. just an absolute embarrassment to football.

Remember they couldn't pound it in on the goalline. Cost them 4 points. But other than that the drop off wasn't too bad. What cost them was having a quarterback who cannot be relied upon to carry a team. Luck leads Bowe into the endzone on that 4th and 11 play at the end, Smith leads him out of bounds.

yeah, nice try trying to sound like an authority and guessing the future. Smith did the best he could and was responsible for the teams majority of points. He in effect carried the team but the team failed in all other areas

For such a quarterback savant it turns out you're actually fucking clueless about quarterbacks. Good for Smith doing "the best he could" - but as I made clear that's not good enough. Air balled numerous mid range pass attempts, blew a walk in TD in the 3rd, couldn't get a 1st down when the Colts had momentum, and fucked up the decisive play.

big news= adversity happens in games. That makes nothing he did sub par by any stretch. Some idiots here are calling the other QB superior while throwing 3 ints. ...that by any definition is sub par as well.

KC had this game in their hands and choked it away on defense, not because of mistakes by Smith in the course of the entire game.

at least the Eagles playoff game isn't basketball on grass...so far

because his loss wasnt the difference in the game. the chiefs put up 44 points without him and his loss was completely irrelevant to the outcome. if they had played any defense at all after being up 38-10 then they would have won. their lack of defense was the difference in this game

they had a 28 point lead. 1 offensive player doesnt make the difference when you blow a 28 point lead. the offense put up 500 yards and 44 points. how did the loss of Charles hurt them?

People seriously giving Alex Smith shit though? Puts up 44 points on 30/46 for 378 yards and 4 TDs with no INTs. All without arguably the best running back and one of his biggest receiving options. I'd take a far worse performance all day every day.

Yeah he did a good job against a really bad defence whilst it was in meltdown. As soon as that defence showed a little resistance the Chiefs offence was completely neutered. Smith is who thought he was.

yeah, because they needed charles to make plays. i guess 44 points and 500 yards wasnt enough offense because their shit defense gave up 45 points and 501 yards.
