I could see how he could be conceived as a thug by some. Imagine if you were a rich beautiful skinny blonde women walking around Palo Alto late at night and he started yelling at you. In that scenario, the only thing scarier would be walking around Berkley late at night and running into Marshawn Lynch asking for skittles in a dark alley, or worse to hold his dick.

it baffles me how even the loyalists cant see the issue with the Sherman thing. no, he isnt a thug, no he isnt a bad guy and yes he is a great player. but the fact that he spoke about an opposing player in such a derogatory manor right after the game is a classless move. its a matter of sportsmanship. he obviously doesnt care about that and thats his choice. he spoke out of selfishness and didnt care about his teammates, his coaches or the league. what are people talking about today....not seatlle the great team going to the super bowl...its sherman the thug, punk, no class, whatever who ran his mouth.

Also what fucking game were this clowns on ESPN watching? They keep going on and on about how the 49ers should have ran some more read option like in the first half. What read option? Kaepernick got those big plays after he got flushed out of the pocket.

You could easily argue he did the genius move of taking all the pressure off his low key rickety playing QB and offense. The talk will be about Sherman which is irrelevant since Manning isn't going to alter the game plan based on his antics. He just relieved a bunch of media pressure off his team.
Not saying it was an intended consequence but certainly not making anything worse for his team.

A rickety playing QB that had a passer rating well over 100 and an offense that consisted of Marshawn Lynch running for 109 yards on only 20 carries against a defense that hasn't given up 100 yard rusher in 22 games. The offense played a very respectable game against an extremely solid defense.

He had a 100 yard game followed by a 200 yard game thats pretty rickety. They are going against the top scoring offense ever. Quit being silly , the media pressure will (or maybe would have) been all over this offense and its inexperienced 100-200 yard passer going against the Galactic force of Manning.

when was the last time Manning bobbled a snap and lost a football behind his back in the same game? no, Russell did not play a good game against a great defense. He got lucky on 2 deep throws and his defense bailed him out.

yes, forget about it because Chicago's 2006 top ranked defense and sorry ass QB couldn't beat a Manning lead team with somewhat lesser receiving talent and a not so great defense either.

yes, its entirely possible that the Broncos are too old at key positions and Seattle is just ripe for this...but the problem is a second year QB and teams that haven't gone this far before against teams that have or a team with a majority of players that have don't fair well.

Don't bore me with the Roethisberger example because he was on a better loaded team then Seattle is now and that Seattle team had no true post season experience either.

Seattle is just this years version of last years Niners
