Thats the part that stood out to me the most. He says hes just another guy. Im not old enough, but I vaguely remember him being a bit better than "another guy". I chuckled and kind of put two and two together when he said the suits would concede defeat and let him sit in the war room. This guy was bitter as fuck, never wanted Eason, and must have had some shit going down behind the scenes causing his firing.

Meyer was pretty intense. He was effective for short spurts, kind of like Billy Martin used to be in baseball, then he would wear out his welcome. In 1986, the Colts started the year 0-13, fired their coach, hired Meyer, and ended the year 3-13. Pretty incredible. The Colts made the playoffs in 1987, too.
