Singletary is IMO going to end up as the Scott Skiles of the NFL. Good for short bursts to turn around a poor team with locker room problems in the short term with his dictatorship, rah rah style, but eventually the players will get tired of his shit and he'll have to move on.

I heard he doesn't practice and his teammates hate him. Regardless, he has been a major disappointment on the field. The Niners expected him to be their game-breaker on offense, and he can't even distinguish himself from Josh Morgan.

Watch Crabtree on the field after he drops a pass or the offense turns the ball over. He always starts throwing a temper tantrum and will push somebody from behind or do something ridiculous. He's a bitch.

The whole contract thing turned me sour to begin with...the dude was willing to sit out for an entire season over some twisted notion that he thought he was the #1 receiver in the draft, and should've been paid as such despite where he was drafted.

Plus, everything I've read from the media just reinforces that diva notion. And dude, Vernon Davis called him out during practice. The same dude that you could've called a diva just two years ago.

I soured on him after the contract thing and still haven't gotten over it, but as far as what I read in the media, i dont see anything that makes him a diva. I don't see him doing anything TO did when he was here. Davis called him out but we dont know for what. Davis was a headcase just 2 years ago too and no one called him an asshole the way Crabs is getting labeled a diva

I'm not trying to back him in anyway. I'm just trying to understand how he got the label(besides of when he came in the league with it). Does he need to step up? Yes, I agree that he does, but I dont see anything from him, like, blaming teammates or saying he's the best and he's always open like TO did to be getting that label. jmo

And from what the OC says, he was doing what he was told to do - he wasn't even given the opportunity to run the type of offense he wanted. Basically, It's Mike Singletary being the clueless dumbass that he is.

His current play has no bearing on him having the diva label and I believe people are correlating the two

Trent Dilfer said he worked out with Crabtree during his holdout and that Crabs was one of the best talents he's ever worked with. He also said that he believes Crabs problem has been that he hasn't been properly coached up and the scheme that he's in along with the QB aren't helping.
