That may be true, although I would be highly doubtful. So many people are completely clueless about the warranty policy and just buy a new one when theirs breaks. Then of course there are tons of people that send them in for a repair, buy a new one and then either sell the broken one when it comes back or keep it as a "back up". LOL. As for how many most people have went through, that's a completely different story. I know EVERY one of my actual friends and family members that own one are on at least their third. Yes I know the people close to me don't constitute the general population but it would seem far fetched to think that every one I know is outside of the norm.
