[360] #5 Bites the Dust

i am on #4 myself. first lasted 4 hrs, 2nd lasted about 2 years and then was repaired and sent back to me as my 3rd one. then that one finally died after 3 total years of use. this new one I have is an elite with the new gpu and i got it back in feb 2010.

Am I missing something here? The 360 has only been out for five years but you have had them for nine years? Or do you have multiple systems?

That's kind of similar to my situation except my first one lasted two weeks.

I remember when one of my buddies got his first one. It was when they were still very hard to come by. He found a Circuit City that had a few in but it was over an hour away. He drove all the way out there and back, He hooked it up and...nothing. I think the power brick was completely broken. He eventually got it exchanged a week later. Another broken one later and after the repair he sold it. He has been all PS3 since.

That's been pretty much the story with most of my friends. They got tired of them breaking and just got rid of it.

I love gaming too much so I stick with it.

I've had 4. 1 xbox crapper out twice. And I bought an elite last Xmas to take with me to school and has been working good. The one that had been sent out for repairs twice hasn't had any problems since the last repair.

I had three. The third one just stopped reading hard drives one day and I sold it. Used that money to get a PS3.

Well, it's been two weeks today and still no 360. I thought that this process was supposed to be faster than it used to be.
