I like the signing of Spikes, he should add some veteran leadership to your linebackers.

I am glad to see T.O back on FA, and maybe the Chargers is the right fit for him in a Passing Offense.

Yeah he just wasn't worth the money and he had a lot of drops which annoyed me. I still would like a big play wide receiver I'm hoping that either Lee Evans can be that guy or that I can maybe find one in the draft.

We had a somewhat quiet free agency but I think we added a lot of value players who will make an impact even though they may not seem like superstars. Miles Austin was by far the best deal he ended up having a B potential (same as Lee Evans for example) and I'm paying him next to nothing. I'm excited to see how he progresses.

There are a couple players I have my eye on for the draft. We'll have to see what happens. I wish I had a higher pick but that's just the way it goes.

Buffalo Lands Oklahoma Quarterback Sam Bradford with 18th Overall Pick

Will Bradford become the face of the Bills for years to come?

AP Buffalo- With the 18th overall selection in the 2010 NFL Draft the Buffalo Bills selected Quarterback Sam Bradford out of Oklahoma. The former Heisman winner looks to bring stability and leadership to the struggling quarterback play of the Buffalo Bills. He will instantly be tossed into the open quarterback competition with veteran Trent Edwards and second year quarterback Hunter Cantwell.

"Wow, I still can't believe it. When I got the phone call from Coach Grimm and he said I was their guy, I was beyond words. To come to a storied franchise with so much great history like the Buffalo Bills is such an honor. To wear the same uniform that some of the greats like Jim Kelly and Bruce Smith have worn is really something. I am really excited to get into camp and meet all my teammates. Buffalo Selects Versatile Big Play Receiver Deonte Thompson in the Second Round

Thompson will bring his explosiveness to the Buffalo offense.

AP Buffalo- With the 50th overall selection in the 2010 NFL Draft the Buffalo Bills selected WR Deonte Thompson out of Florida. The former Gator was the number one rated wide receiver in the 2010 class. He brings excellent break away speed and big play ability. He will most likely compete with newly acquired WR Miles Austin for the slot position. There is also a chance both could start with one in the slot position and the other as the number two wide receiver. Thompson is also expected to compete for the team's open kick and punt returner spot. The spot was vacated after WR Roscoe Parrish suffered a broken vertebrae ending his football career.

"We were really surprised to find Deonte there when we got on the clock. I mean to be able to grab perhaps the best and most athletic wide receiver in the draft in the middle of the second round...you can't get a better deal then that. Deonte is a special player who will not only bolster our wide receiving corp but should contribute on special teams as well." - Head Coach Russ Grimm

I was so surprised he was still there, I couldn't believe it. He was the number one player on my board but there were a couple of teams ahead of me that needed quarterbacks so I thought for sure I would be stuck with some mid round guy. The 49ers going with Tebow really surprised me. I scouted both heavily and Tebow has better arm strength but Bradford's accuracy is much higher. I am really excited for this next season and to watch Bradford progress.

Oh, how I love the offseason so much! Great pick with Bradford, look as though your future QB spot is set in place, even if he doesn't start this season.

Clapp joins teammate Sam Bradford as the second Sooner drafted by the Buffalo Bills. Clapp will look to be the starting fullback following the release earlier this offseason of FB Corey McIntyre. Clapp will most likely be the only fullback carried by the Bills and will be thrust immediately into the starting lineup.

Thanks man! Yeah, Bradford's overall should be decent I scouted him pretty heavily throughout the season so I already knew a couple of his attributes. I'm just hoping for a decent overall rating and high potential.

Smith will backup second year man Jairus Byrd and could see some playtime in dime and quarter packages.

Thanks man. I am really excited to see how Bradford does. We're having a pretty solid draft so far. I think we added three potential starters in the first three rounds and now we are drafting some depth and project players.
