Wow, some big plays in that Cleveland win, but I think it was a little too close for comfort. That Lynch score with under 2 minutes was the big dagger in Cleveland's side.

Yeah the Lynch run really sealed the deal for us. I was just trying to run out the clock at that point and he broke through two tackles and took it to the house.

The Edwards era continues to steamroll and my prediction is making me look more and more like Nostradamus everyday!

Great win over Cleveland as I thought it would be. Trent is making a statement that he really should have been number one and that Bradford was a wasted pick.

Thanks man! Yeah Trent has really been playing lights out. His completion percentage is a little lower than I would like but he isn't turning the ball over which is great. Trent is in a contract year though. I am a little worried I might have a situation like the Chargers had with Drew Brees and Phillip Rivers at the end of the year. At this point its way too early to worry about though. Both quarterbacks still have a lot to prove.

Prediction:
The Bills lost both of their meetings with the Jets last season but will look to pull out a victory this week. Jets QB Mark Sanchez has suffered a bit of a sophomore slump after winning rookie of the year honors last season. He is completing just 50 percent of his passes and has thrown as many picks as he has touchdowns. With all of the injuries to the Jets offensive line, I think they will have a tough time getting the running game going against a stout Bills run defense. If the Bills offense can keep it simple, by keeping the ball on the ground, they should win this one easily. Look for Bills HB Marshawn Lynch to have a big game. The only way the Jets are in this one is if they can force Trent Edwards to pass a lot. The Jets secondary is strong and could give Edwards trouble if he has to win the game for Buffalo. The Jets front seven though doesn't look strong enough to contain Lynch. Bills win 28-21.

Bills Fall in Final Minutes to Jets 23-20

Bills WR Miles Austin falls into the endzone for a second quarter score.​

AP New York: The Buffalo Bills divisional woes continued as they fell to the New York Jets 23-20. The Bills have not beaten any team in their division other than Miami since before last season. The game was a defensive struggle early as neither team could get the ball moving. The Jets finally managed to put up points in the second quarter after DT Kris Jenkins recovered a Bills fumble. The Bills were able to answer back as QB Trent Edwards found WR Miles Austin for a 21 yard touchdown.

Edwards had a rough day throwing for only 47% with three interceptions. Jets CB Darrelle Revis was the main cause, shutting out Bills WR Lee Evans and recording an interception. The Bills took the lead, 20-14, with under five minutes remaining as Edwards found Austin again this time for a 62 yard score. The Bills defense could not hold on, though, as QB Mark Sanchez found WR Braylon Edwards for the winning touchdown with under two minutes remaining.

The Bills will head home to take on the Detroit Lions (4-3). The Jets will travel to Heinz Field to take on the defending AFC champion Pittsburgh Steelers (4-3).

Prediction:
Coming off a heartbreaking loss to the Jets, the Bills will look to rebound at home against the Detroit Lions. The Lions have surprised a lot of people this season jumping out to a 4-3 record despite having sophomore QB Matthew Stafford go down in the preseason. QB Daunte Culpepper has proved he still has some gas left in the tank, filling in nicely for Stafford. The Lions defense is led by MLB Larry Foote who is having a phenomenal season and currently is the leading candidate for the NFL Defensive Player of the Year award. For the Bills, the offense has got to do a better job protecting the ball. Four turnovers last week proved to be the kiss of death for the Bills. Look for the Bills to attempt to establish the run early and often against the weak defensive line of the Lions. I think the Lions are a lot better than they look on paper but I don't see the Bills losing at home. I'll take the Bills to rebound beating Detroit 28-17.

Definitely a tough game to lose. We have had the worst luck against teams in our division. Miles Austin has been doing really well so far this season. He has great speed and is a big play threat every time he touches the ball. Thanks for checking in man!

What are you doing for photos???? The one I just saw looked good...are you uploading or are you taking Dig Cam pics?

Chise looks good...I follow even if I don't post BTW. What are your future plans for the team? MOving, uni changes, personnel moves....you seem competitive but need to get over the hump. Play safe against Detroit and let them beat themselves.

For the photos what I do is I go to instant replay during my games and take a picture of my TV screen with a digital camera and then upload the picture to my computer. Its probably not the best method but I have a pretty nice TV so the pictures have come out really nice. If that makes sense? If you need any more help with this let me know.

As far as future plans for the team its hard to say at this point. We will definitely be staying in Buffalo and probably keeping the same uniforms. I want the Bills to be winners in Buffalo. Buffalo deserves that after all the heartbreak. There's still a lot of building to do in the personnel. The big question of the offseason will be what to do with Trent Edwards. He is in a contract year. I would also like to build along the offensive line and possibly the secondary. Eventually a replacement will have to be found for Schobel who is getting older and I want to keep Maybin at LE because he is a beast so far from that position. I also would be open to looking for another wide receiver since most of my guys play like number two's and a clear number one receiver has yet to emerge. We'll see what happens but it should be an interesting offseason.

Gah, those damn Jets got the best of you! Hell of a game from Miles Austin, could be a very good sign for your passing game.

Bills Hold Off Late Rally to Defeat Lions 24-17

AP Buffalo – The Buffalo Bills held off a late rally to beat the Detroit Lions 24-17. Buffalo jumped out to a quick lead scoring 17 unanswered points to take a 17-0 lead in the second quarter. The Bills broke the game wide open when CB Cary Harris intercepted a Lions pass and took it 104 yards for the touchdown. Detroit K Jay Feely did manage to get his team on the board before half time with a 36 yard field goal.

After a scoreless third quarter, Bills QB Trent Edwards found rookie WR Deonte Thompson for a 7 yard touchdown. Culpepper would try to lead a rally late in the fourth quarter. After a blown coverage left Lions WR Marko Mitchell wide open for a 64 yard touchdown pass, the Lions were within a single score of tying the game up. However, it was not meant to be as Bills HB Marshawn Lynch was able to grind out the remaining time on the clock. Lynch would finish with over 100 yards on the ground. The Bills controlled this one the whole way and had it not been for the blown coverage in the fourth quarter, this game may have been even more lopsided.

The Bills will stay at home to take on the Kansas City Chiefs (4-4). Detroit will head back home to take on the Atlanta Falcons (4-4).

boy these stats look good...I have to implement you subs.....had some frustrating online games where I felt I was better than the other guy but kept getting bullshit stuff, like fumble punts, deflected int's etc.
You did what I said and let Detroit beat themselves..you'll do the same with the chiefs...just don't give them any breaks and you'll win.

I've never played online but I know how frustrating some of that stuff can be. What usually irritates me the most is when my receiver will drop it right into the hands of a defensive back. Thats what happened with one of the picks in the last game Evans dropped and it tipped right to the safety over top.

We'll try to do the exact same thing against Kansas City that we did against Detroit which is like you said control the ball and let them beat themselves. It will definitely be a tougher game though with the chiefs having Matt Cassel and Larry Johnson.

Way to get back on track with that win and hell of a game for Lynch. If you can run like that every week, you'll take the AFC East with ease.

Thanks man, Lynch is a real beast when he gets rolling. We have to start winning some AFC east games though if we are going to take the division. I feel like I am always hanging around on the Patriots coattails. If we want the title we're going to have to go through New England.

The Kansas City Chiefs narrowly defeated the Denver Broncos 33-27 in overtime to take the second place spot in the division. Chiefs HB Larry Johnson rushed for 173 yards and a score to lead the offense. For the Broncos, WR Brandon Marshall had over 50 yards receiving and a score. Broncos QB Jason Campbell had a rough day throwing two interceptions in the loss.

The Bills will look to stay undefeated at home, as they take on the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs are coming off a huge overtime win against the Broncos which vaulted them into second place in the AFC West. I expect to see the Bills to use the same gamplan they used last week. Look for Lynch to get a heavy workload. The Bills will look to keep the pressure off of Edwards who has looked shaky in the past couple weeks. The Chiefs have a much better offense though than Detroit so the Bills will have to tighten up if they hope to win this one. This one is going to be a lot closer than people think but I think the Bills still come out on top 31-28.

Still struggling with sliders....I trashed my experimental chise already because I'm getting weird games...I guess I havent' been patient enough. Also, I'm still learning how to use the ps3 controls after years of gamecube, so my abilities change every day. I'm going to restart a 32 team chise just to get the sliders right. I want to come back to yours and try again. It just seems to easy to score some games.

I was a weekly featured franchise but I hadn't heard anything about franchise of the month but thank you! Let me know how the slider testing continues to go. Yeah, it must be kind of difficult switching over to the PS3. My offense has actually been struggling as of late but then again I am the Bills.

Bills Stumble Losing to Chiefs 27-20

AP Buffalo: The Bills lost a close one to the Kansas City Chiefs by the score of 27-20. The Chiefs jumped out to a quick 10-0 lead in the first quarter led by the excellent play of QB Matt Cassel. Cassel would finish the day with over 250 yards and three touchdowns. The Bills responded back in the second quarter carried by HB Marshawn Lynch. Lynch turned in another 100+ yard game. Late in the second quarter Bills WR Lee Evans atoned for an earlier dropped touchdown when he returned a kickoff 96 yards for the score.

After a scoreless third quarter, Cassel once again got the Chiefs back on track hooking up with TE Brad Cottam for the second time to take the lead. The game looked to be headed for overtime after Bills PK Rian Lindell hit a 26 yard field goal with only 50 seconds remaining in the game. However, it was not meant to be as Cassel found WR Chris Chambers for the game winning score with only 22 seconds remaining.

The Bills will stay at home to take on the division leading New England Patriots (7-2) on Sunday Night Football. The Chiefs will travel to San Diego to take on the Chargers (6-3).

Yeah the pass defense has just been terrible lately. It will need to be a lot better if we have any shot against the Patriots.

Tough loss to the Chiefs. I am sure you will rebound. Lynch really seems to be producing for you.
