Prediction:
It is hard to say any game is a must win when it is only the midpoint of the season but it doesn't get any bigger than this for the Buffalo Bills. The Bills suit up to do battle with the Patriots in Buffalo on Sunday Night Football. The Bills are looking to prove they are a playoff caliber team after a disappointing loss to the Chiefs last week. A win over the Patriots would put the Bills back into contention for the AFC East title. The Patriots have been nothing short of spectacular the past two weeks and are considered the best team in the NFL right now. If the Bills want to have any shot at winning, it has to be with HB Marshawn Lynch. QB Trent Edwards has been rocky the past few weeks and already has many fans wondering when Sam Bradford will be back. I think the Bills will put up a valiant fight in front of their home crowd but in the end the Patriots offense will simply be too much. Patriots win this one 31-20.

Sorry the updates have been slow guys..schools been crazy. I should have the game up either friday night or saturday at the latest. Thanks again to everyone for checking in and following along!

That was a tough loss against the Chiefs, who ended Charles Career?

Yeah the Chiefs loss really hurt, I thought it was a game we should have won for sure. We just seem to have a really hard time getting over that hump of being just average. I think it was Marcus Stroud who got Charles.

AP Buffalo – No one could’ve predicted this game as the Buffalo Bills blew out the league leading New England Patriots 45-24 on Sunday night football. The Bills offense led by QB Trent Edwards and HB Marshawn Lynch took advantage of a Patriots defense that was injured and weak up front. Lynch had an amazing day running the ball, piling up 142 yards on the ground and a score. The win came at a high cost for the Bills though as Lynch suffered an elbow injury late in the game that is expected to keep him out for at least the next three weeks.

Bills rookie WR Deonte Thompson had by far the biggest game of his young career. The rookie sensation had over 200 yards receiving and a score. Not to be outdone on the other side of the ball Patriots rookie WR Riley Cooper had over 150 yards receiving and three scores. Cooper would be the only source of offense for the Patriots all night. Buffalo completely dominated this one and led the entire way. The score would have been even more lopsided had it not been for a few big plays by the Patriots. Patriots QB Tom Brady had a surprisingly average day completing just over fifty percent of his passes and getting picked off in the first quarter by Bills CB Drayton Florence for a touchdown.

The Patriots will travel next week to take on the lowly Browns (3-7). The Bills will head into a hostile environment in Baltimore to take on the Ravens (8-2) on another Sunday night game.

Coming off a huge win last week, over the Patriots, the Bills will look to keep rolling this time against the Ravens. The Ravens are currently ranked first in the AFC North and are widely considered one of the best teams in the NFL. Led by perennial pro bowlers FS Ed Reed and MLB Ray Lewis, the Ravens boast one of the most fierce defenses. Buffalo is going to have a hard time putting up any points especially after losing pro bowl HB Marshawn Lynch last week to injury. Bills backup QB Trent Edwards has had a tale of two seasons. Some weeks he is great, other weeks not so much. Against this secondary look to see one of those not so great performances. In a surprising development, the Bills coaching staff has decided to give HB Devin Moore the start. It was assumed that HB Dominic Rhodes would take over after the injury to Lynch, but head coach Russ Grimm said he wanted to keep Rhodes in a third down/goal line role, which he has been excelling in all season. All the pressure will fall on Devin Moore for this game. If he plays well the Bills have a shot, if not this one could get ugly. I'll take the Ravens in this one 27-10.

Great win over the Patriots!! Hope to see Moore pick up the slack for Lynch over the next few weeks.

Thanks man! It was huge for us to finally beat the Pats. We would have had no shot at the division title if we lost. Losing Lynch definitely hurt. I don't want to have to put too much of the load on Edwards so hopefully the running game between Rhodes and Moore can help keep the offense balanced. Our schedule is just brutal down the stretch as we try to sneak into a playoff spot.

AP Baltimore: The Buffalo Bills won again against a heavily favored team, this time downing the Baltimore Ravens 30-19. The Bills jumped out to a fast start in the first quarter. Bills rookie WR Deonte Thompson continued his spectacular season showing off his great hands and breakaway speed. Thompson took a quick slant pattern 57 yards for a score after spinning out of the would be tackle from Ravens FS Ed Reed. The score would put the Bills on top 14-3 at the end of the first quarter.

The Bills expanded their lead in the third quarter when QB Trent Edwards found WR James Hardy all alone for a 72 yard score. The Ravens stayed within striking distance however as PK Garrett Hartley connected on his fourth field goal of the game. A late 4th quarter touchdown run by Bills HB Devin Moore would seal the win for Buffalo. Ravens QB Joe Flacco threw for over 350 yards in the loss.

“This is a huge win for us. Winning in a hostile environment against a team as good as the Ravens is no easy feat. I am proud of our players and coaches. I was extremely impressed with the play of Devin Moore. This was the first significant playing time he has seen in his young career and he came through in the clutch. Needless to say he will be the starter next week against Pittsburgh.” -Bills Head Coach Russ Grimm

The Ravens will stay at home and take on the Buccaneers (0-11), who are having a season to forget. The Bills will look to stretch their win streak to three games as they head back home to take on the Steelers (7-4) .

Haven't looked at this in a while

Where's Bradford?

He won the starting job and then he went down early in the season with a herniated disk. So I had to turn to Trent who was the backup heading into the season. He has played surprisingly well so far though. Bradford should be back in two weeks and then I'll have to decide who to start. Thanks for checking in man!

1)QB J.P. Losman vs. QB Trent Edwards: Edge: Edwards

2)WR Deonte Thompson vs. SS Troy Polamalu: Edge: Polamalu

3)HB Devin Moore vs. Steelers Front Seven: Edge: Even

Prediction:
Story-lines abound as the Pittsburgh Steelers come into Buffalo to take on the Bills. J.P. Losman, the former first round pick of the Bills, has found himself once again starting in the NFL, this time in Pittsburgh, after pro bowl QB Ben Roethlisberger went down early in the season. Losman has struggled though and the Steelers have had to rely heavily on their running game and tough defense. Look for that to be the case as they take on the Bills. The Bills are on a two game winning streak after knocking off two of the best in the AFC. If the Bills can take away the run game, they should win this one easily. Bills QB Trent Edwards will have to be careful with the ball going up against the ball hawking secondary of the Steelers. The Bills will look for the one two punch of Devin Moore and Dominic Rhodes to shoulder the load and take the pressure off of Edwards. The wild card for the Bills offense is rookie WR Deonte Thompson who is a threat to take it all the way every time he touches the ball. Look for the Bills to get him the ball early and often. I like the Bills to win this one 31-17.

AP Buffalo: The Buffalo Bills suffered a complete collapse as the Steelers crushed them by the score of 51-12. The Bills looked to be in control early jumping out to a 9-0 lead at the end of the first quarter behind the leg of PK Rian Lindell. Pittsburgh turned up the heat in the second quarter and Bills QB Trent Edwards crumbled. Edwards threw two interceptions in the second quarter both to SS Troy Polamalu who returned one of them for the score. The Bills defense struggled being put in bad situation after bad situation as the Steelers offense began to get rolling. The Steelers would head into halftime with a 20-12 lead.

It was all Pittsburgh, in the third quarter. Edwards continued to struggle, throwing another interception, this time to MLB Lawrence Timmons. Bills CB Terrence McGee suffered a broken rib late in the game. The injury is expected to keep him out of next week’s game. Despite the resounding boos from the fans, Steelers QB J.P. Losman put up quite the show with his defense giving him a short field nearly every series. Losman would finish the day with three passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown. Pittsburgh would put up ten more points in the fourth quarter to finish off the rout. As the game ended, chants of “Bradford! Bradford! Bradford!” could be heard throughout the stadium.

The Steelers will stay on the road to take on the winless Buccaneers (0-12). The Bills will head back on the road to take on the Bengals (4-8) in Cincinnati.

Tell me about it. That game was just horrible. We were doing pretty well early and then we started giving them short fields with the turnovers and it was just too much for the defense. We actually covered the wideouts pretty well, Losman loved to hit the flats and I had second string TE's just tearing me up. The Bengals are having a rough season so I'm hoping we can bounce back against them. I would love to make a wildcard berth this season but its going to be hard. Thanks for checking in man!

I have to echo what Tearz said...bad enough to lose, but to have Losman come in and play a really good game against you is rough. Good luck against the Bengals.

Yeah that one really hurt. We just could not cover the flats to save our life. I might have to start thinking about looking at outside linebackers in the offseason. Losman made us look stupid and the turnovers from our offense just killed us. Hopefully we can bounce back against the Bengals. Every game counts now.

2)WR Chad Ochocinco vs. CB Leodis McKelvin: Edge: Ochocinco

Prediction:
The Bills are looking to bounce back after getting run out of their own stadium by the Pittsburgh Steelers last week. Bills QB Trent Edwards has looked more and more shaky each week and chances are pretty good that rookie QB Sam Bradford will take over next week when he returns from injury. Bengals WR Chad Ochocinco has already started trash talking the Bills after seeing footage from the Steelers game saying, "Da fools can't even cover a backup TE, think what they will do when they see me. I'm going to own Leodis. You heard it here first, at least two touchdowns from the Ochocinco show." Bills CB Leodis McKelvin declined to respond to Chad's comments. The story line for the Bengals, however, is the injury to Carson Palmer. After a promising start the Bengals season took a downward spiral when Palmer again went down with a long term injury. Backup QB Jeff Rowe has proved ineffective so far. The Bills looked bad last week and I mean really bad. That being said I think they come out with a fire and down the Bengals easily. Bills win this one 31-21.

AP Cincinnati: The Bills managed to hold on for a 24-22 victory over the Bengals in a sloppy game in the rain. The two teams combined for eight turnovers. The Bengals offense had a tough time committing six of these turnovers (two interceptions and four fumbles). The first quarter went scoreless as neither offense could get anything going. Bills CB Leodis McKelvin showed up Bengals WR Chad Ochocinco intercepting a first quarter pass right in front of the loud mouth wide receiver. McKelvin would continue to make Chad eat his pregame trash talking as the cornerback held Chad to just one catch for 26 yards on the day. Needless to say McKelvin got the last laugh.

The Bengals jumped out to a 10-0 lead early in the second quarter after HB Brian Leonard took a screen pass 35 yards for the score. The Bills offense was finally able to get going as TE Shawn Nelson took an Edwards pass 40 yards for the score after breaking two tackles. Bills QB Trent Edwards found backup TE Derek Fine just before the half to take a 14-10 lead heading into the break.

The Bills continued to march as rookie WR Deonte Thompson broke free for a 22 yard catch and score midway through the third quarter. The Bengals jumped right back into it after a blown coverage left slot WR Jerome Simpson wide open for an 83 yard score. Bengals HB Brian Leonard scored with under four minutes remaining to put the game within two but it was not meant to be as the pass from QB Jeff Rowe sailed out of the back of the endzone.

The Bengals will stay at home to take on the Indianapolis Colts (8-5). The Bills will head to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars (3-10) on Monday Night Football.
