It's almost as if hundreds of millions of people are willing to watch him do said "work" once a week and thus he can command such a salary.

Don't watch sports, and convince the entirety of the free world to join you, if you have an issue with athletes drawing high salaries. Go to the circus instead, I think their performers get paid rather crummy wages.

Sorry but Aaron Rodgers will never be paid like a teacher or a cop. The NFL is a multi-billion dollar corporation with Aaron Rodgers being a key contributor to that.. hence why he's being paid accordingly.

I guess Rodgers, Flacco, etc could be nice and take less money, but the moment they start regressing those same billion dollar owners (Green Bay being exempt here) would not blink to cut the player.
