My all time favorite Oriole. No coincidence they make the playoffs the year they bring him in as a consultant. :kobe:

I think the O's have a good chance, not sure if they will win, but I like the way the pitching is set up. Hammel, Gonzalez, and Tillman are a pretty solid trio, throw in Chen and Saunders if needed, plus a bullpen that doesn't lose games (something like 75-0 when leading after 7)...in good shape. Just have to get it done.

Brady's done a lot of work with some of the younger guys related to conditioning. The guy is nearing 50 and still looks like he could go out there and play. He's been a big part of the success, along with both Rick Petersen and Chris Correnti.

Always been a Orioles fan, I actually have a Memorial Stadium Shirt from 1990 (baby shirt) that I will give to my child when it's born. I just haven't followed the Orioles that much because, I don't live where I can watch every game and on top of that they've been dreadfully awful till this year. Poor ownership has pissed me off for many years with this team.

I am not a believer in fandom, but this post is the fan version of "I have a lot of black friends."
 
Don't understand why Jim Johnson was brought it. Every game this year he was brought in during a non save oppurtunity he has allowed 2+ runs it seems.
