lol...do you want me to lie to you instead then? Put Vince on Cleveland or Boston(especially Boston because they're so team oriented) and he wouldn't be putting up the numbers he is right now....and his numbers aren't even THAT better.

Yeah, the Celtics ain't aight for Carter. I think Vince would own playing for the Cavs though.

No doubt I'm bias too...but even an unbias eye can see that the way the Celtics have played as of late, they've been the best team in the league. All it takes is a little basketball knowledge. And if you're going to base your argument the1 point overtime win the Lakers had last night...then go right ahead. Stop drinking the wine and gold kool-aid and give the Celts, who have had multiple 10+ winning streaks this season, who have knocked off basically all of the big guys and who have 3 all stars and are the defending champs a little credit....which you've yet to do in any thread I've ever seen...

Here we go:

Point) Multiple 10+ game winning streaks

Counter-Point) Teams are still on pace with them, this means nothing than they get hot, drop a few, get hot again. Lakers, Cavaliers, and even the Magic were on pace with the Celtics during BOTH winning streaks. And now the Celtics trail both the Lakers and Cavaliers.

Point) Knocked off basically all of the Big Guys

Counter Point) Except the Lakers (0-2) not just the one point over-time loss but the loss Christmas day in L.A. The Cavs (1-1) Beat them in Boston, lost in Cleveland, nothing changed since last year. They knocked off a struggling Detroit team (2-0) and took care of the Magic (2-0). The two teams that are even able to give the Celtics a run for their money, their .500 and .000, a little common knowledge will tell you that .250 against the teams your probably playing in the ECF and Finals...not good numbers, thus far.

Point) Two All-Stars and Ray Ray.

Counter-Point) Had they of selected Mo Williams he would of held the same status as Ray Ray does and that's "ALTERNATE" Mo changes the mind-set of the Cavaliers, a lot like your boy KG changed the defensive mind-set of the Celtics. Mo is deserving of the spot, Ray Ray was given it so "The Big 3" could be together for ratings, when really the only ones who want to see the Big 3 is Boston Nation.

This really isn't about them as players anymore because it's blown up into an argument about how teams are because of their players. I believe that Mo is more deserving than what Allen was, and though Carter is well above both them, my argument is that Carter gets that many more touches with the ball than the other two do.

If they were discussing throwing any other point guard in the league, to join this cast of characters for a possible replacement for then All-Star Jameer Nelson. I'd have an argument for them too, weather I determined if they were going to be better than Mo Williams for the position or not. Point is, in this argument I'm stating Williams>Allen>Carter, in THAT order for who deserved the spot.

Well, Carter probably gets more touches, but not THAT many. Devin's taking a lot away from him.

And Williams and Allen would both be better for the position of point guard than Carter? They're both absolute shoot-first players and get less assists than Vince and you're putting them ahead of him? C'mon!

Dude.. Mo Williams IS a PG.. by default he is a better PG than Vince Carter who is not even a PG.

lol and thank you for showing that you don't have the comprehension skills to read my post. I specifically said that Vince Carter on the Celtics or Cavs would not put up the numbers he is right now..and then you returned with a counter argument of "he's averaging more points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks" so good job man. Way to make yourself look good there...


This thread has just turned into a pissing contest of who can be the most bias. Ray got it, Carter and Mo didn't...obviously there's a reason for that.

Theres also a reason Carter was only in consideration to his fans base (which is dwindling I might add) and you never heard him talk about as a snub, or as an option to replace Jameer Nelson.
