Am I the only one who can't watch a movie twice?

It depends if you are a serious movie watcher or not...I mean, if movies are just "whatever" to you, then once is plenty.

If you're a serious movie watcher, a lot movies are worthy of a revisit at least once.
 
If it's a good movie, I sometimes will watch it again. Depends.

I have no interest in watching Gran Torino again (despite it being a damn good film) but I can watch The Wedding Crashers several times. Go figure.
 
I've probably watched Hot Rod at least 10 times. Each time me and my friends have seen things in the background and shit they we missed the other times.

Thats funny, I wouldn't say Gran Torino is his best film, but I have seen it a few times, one of those movies I'll put it on if nothing is on.

Did rewatch A Clockwork Orange last night, probably 10th time I have seen it in the past 15 years, still a few little things I never caught before still amazing as ever.
 
I agree to a certain extent. But if there is a movie I love I find myself watching it a lot. Especially if I give it a few months to sort of forget the plot.
 
The more I like a movie the less Ill watch it. Ex LOTR I havent watched since the theater until recently I saw part 1 again. Felt like I was watching it all over as I forgot so much of it. Same with Xmen 2 which I saw last week.

Some like a christmas story and certain comedies Ill watch whenever the heck theyre on.

But the overall premise is the same reason I dont buy dvds except for certain blockbusters I know Ill get a sudden urge to watch and will know its there for me.
 
I usually don't like to watch a movie twice. If I do it's because I'm watching it with my girlfriend or brother and I want to see them enjoy it. There are a couple of movies that I will rewatch over and over again though. I must have watched BASEketball 15 times as a kid, and whenever Forrest Gump is on I'll watch that too.
 
You guys either watch mindless action and comedy movies, or have photographic memories, because I usually have to watch movies more than once to really get a good idea of what the movies is about. I mean the second time I watched Mulholland Dr. It had only been like a year or two but I would have sworn it was a totally different movie. Also when I first saw the original Dawn of the Dead I didn't like it, thought remake was better, watched it again now no way in hell.

Ingmar Bergman, Kurosawa, and David Lynch can't be appreciated fully without multiple viewing.
 
There are certain movies I've watched over again and enjoyed them like Riverwild, Karate Kid, Starwars, Rocky, Orphan, etc......great movies are good to watch more then once..
 
Watched "Old School" for about the 5th or 6th time tonight, still love that movie ... especially Elisha Cuthbert's ass in that one scene.
