Are You Excited About NCAA Football 10?

I went with No. I cannot remember a time when I was this disinterested in the upcoming NCAA release.

Last year (09) was the first year ever in the series (going back to Bill Walsh days) that I did not purchase the game. I'm frustrated with the current direction the development team has taken the series and decided to no longer buy the game until EA gets "it".

Nothing has changed my opinion. NCAA 10 is GameFly material.

Yeah I agree completely.

But it's okay CLW, I think you'll have something else to occupy your time shortly after.

i didnt get NCAA last year so im excited even tho ill only be keeping it for 1 month..

just played demo, went into like 5 OTs on heisman finished 51-48. i dont waste time picking out all the flaws in the game, its definantly gonna be fun to play untill madden drops

This will be the first year I don't buy NCAA.

Yeah, like Dave and others...this is the first year I will not be picking NCAA up. Ive picked it up for a damn long time, but it just looks like the games run as ended.

I feel the exact same way man. Although I'm kinda glad a new football game is coming out and being the way I am, I'll still be at the midnight release next Monday. But I'm not gonna lie, I was talking to houtz bout this last night. This is the first year that I'm not all that excited for NCAA 10 after hearing bout all the issues, how the gameplay has barely changed, etc.

Yet this is the first year I'm REALLY excited for Madden since 2004 (Such a good year for football games). Usually I'm always stoked for NCAA Football, and then I don't even think about Madden until 2-3 days before it's about to come out...this year I'm really counting the days until August cause that's when the real football game comes back. Madden is back.

I'm the only person who has pick undecided. Right now I dont have any excite for the game. Hell I haven't even reserved it and not really in a rush to. Maybe monday night i'll get excited but right now I have no feelings one way or the other which feels weird at this point of the year.

I don't think does NCAA 10 give me $60 time now. Rather, I compare purchasing NCAA 10 for $60 versus putting an extra $60 in my retirement account.

At my age (29) that $60 winds up being nearly $1000 ($958 to be exact) assuming a return of 8% when I turn 65.

Thus, I ask myself is NCAA 10 worth $1000. My answer is no.

Why in the blue hell have I been thinking you're like 35+ years old? :damn:

Im not excited about NCAA as much this year, but its due to other reasons. So specifically, for NCAA absolutely, its just that other new adult activities (new baby, new house) are consuming my world right now.

But, yea im as excited as I can be about the game right now, in fact i might be gettin it early!

Won't be getting it for the first time in the series this year. Last year's game left such a bad taste in my mouth that NCAA 09 was probably the last college game I'll ever buy. That "wide open gameplay" and lack of defense was the biggest turnoff in video game football to date.:headbang:

No. I won't be buying it on release for cetain. I may try and rent it and see for myself, but I really don't think I can play the game.

It's too fast. The action camera is obnoxious.

Maybe they fixed some of the glaring demo issues (pass rush, pass defense). I don't think they did, but anything is possible I suppose. They game doesn't even have sliders.

That doesn't fix the speed issue. I don't enjoy playing a game at light speed. I really hate the camera angles, I always have hated the next-gen cameras.

I'm real excited, but that's because I'm always very excited. I don't care if the gameplay isn't great, it's college football dammit! And I want to play!
