now that we've seen alot of gameplay and videos from Madden.

All I asked for was that the RC be completely removed(I still don't know yet)
The super LB's are taken away. Meaning they can't jump sidewayz 9 feet in the air and intercept passes easily.
All Nano's be gone
Online D/C's be removed as soon as they're discovered.


As far as the animations, playcalling, HB sweeps(even though they sucked). I was cool with them the way they were in 09.

Do you think it will live up to your expectations now that we've seen alot of '10?

With the pass rush fix, it's getting there. Linebacker logic and warping offensive linemen have to be the priorities right now. Get those linebackers playing the run properly, get that line not warping to the second level, and yes, I'll play the ever loving shit out of this game.

Yes it looks amazing and I think it'll be great..But remember last year we all said the same shit when they revealed the 09 videos. We'll have to wait.

Very impressed with the way Madden's shaping out to be this year. Like someone else already stated, I usually play NCAA Football & Madden all season long and I'm sure this year is going to be no different (especially for Madden).

I'm impressed with what I have seen so far.................stuff that was put on "wish lists" do look as if those issues were taken to heart by the devs. And as CLW said, Ian, along with Rac and the entire dev team has done a kudo-type job at desiminating the info. Just keep the game-play trailers coming...doesn't have to be a whole game....but different aspects [animtations] of gameplay. The last fumble animation I saw looked great with the guy diving over the pile! Pass protect looked pretty good as well. Still a little leary of the Pr-Tac aspect...the warping, etc., but I think that will be worked out.

All-in-all, for me, I've seen enought to pre-order tomorrow! Of course I may wait till "free overnight shipping."

BTW, Ian is a Tennessee guy, like Herm, 'Copter, and the transplant guy that I am, via Florida, so if it's in his power, you can take his word to the bank!

Exactly, I mean we all can point to previous years when vids and news made the game look and seem 100x better than it actually was when we finally got it in our hands.

I don't wanna get my hopes up to high only to be letdown and without a decent football game to play for another year. However it does look like Ian and Co. have made some huge strides in the right direction.

Compared to the majority of the members I am more of a casual madden player, and I enjoyed last year's game. I even traded it in, only to go back to gamestop and buy it again a week later.

It seems to me that they have done quite a bit to the game this year, it doesn't even look like the same game imo. I am very satisfied and excited for this years version, and I know I will be playing the shit out of it.

And I am also satisfied that Ian Cummings seems to be pretty open to answering questions/concerns, something the folks at EA have not done in the past. I specifically remember a question/answer session that was held back in the day on IRC, where the lead producer refused to answer anything about the upcoming game.

So, good job so far Ian & crew, I am pumped for another madden

After seeing numerous vids, no. Seems to be far too many picks, which result in pick 6 more often than not. Scoring also seems to be high, partly due to the pick 6 issue. But I'm also worried that the speed issue might also be causing this.

No pre-order from me. I'm going to wait and see what issues come up, then decide. If every game is going to result in 35-28 scores, and 5 interceptions per game, I'll pass.. NBA 2K10 will keep me busy.
