Does anyone plan on buying/renting this game? I didn't plan on getting it D1C (Day One Confirmed) but I will probably get it at some point. I had a blast playing through the first one in co-op.

Anyone else play the demo yet? My cousin and I played earlier. We were pretty far in the demo and we both got a message saying that each other had left the game, which we hadn't. We didn't feel like starting over again.

I was pretty impressed though. It seems just as fun as the first with a few added things.
 
If I dont receive something from gamefly before it comes out, I will rent. Otherwise I'll be waiting. First one was meh, IMO.
 
loved the first one, yet not sure if im going to spend 60 bucks on it seeing how mass effect is coming out the same month
 
I tried split screen co-op last night and it did not go all that well for me. If I played it online with someone, I think it could be fun but this game definitely isn't a $60 buy for me.

we got pretty far as well and that happened, either that was the end of the demo or its a crappy server. Overall though it was decent but not worth $60 more like $30-40

That's what I'm thinking but I might cave because I love co-op and my cousin and I need something new because we are almost done with the Borderlands expansions.
 
I'm renting it, one play through on co-op should bring enough enjoyment for me.
 
I decided I'm definitely getting this game, one one condition. If either my buddy or my cousin gets it as well.

By the way, it comes out tomorrow for those that aren't aware.
 
Reviews I have seen have been pretty lukewarm. It was gonna take great reviews for me to get this since I hated the first one so doesn't look like I'll be picking it up. Too many top flight games coming out this month and Feb. to get this.

Yeah, now that the release day jonesing has subsided I'll just wait until it's cheap.
 
Loved the first game, beat it with my friend on co-op in like 2 days, we were absolutely addicted. Unfortunately I moved and I don't know too many people with 360, I'll definitely buy it when the price comes down though.
 
i have it right now, pretty fun game, controls like gears, which i never liked, but im enjoying this game. sometimes hard to figure out where u are supposed to go sometimes, im still not really sure what the objective marker is... and no aiming reticule unless you are scoped kinda pisses me off
 
I'm picking this up tomorrow with the TRU deal. I guess I'll get it for 360. Who else has it and wants to co-op?
 
I may rent it if anything... I want to play it due to my tendency to draw aggro like crazy in other games already.

That and the ability to put together crazy "LEGO" guns.

Just finished this solo on Casual with the bad ending. The game is a lot of fun. I still need to finish it on Normal in co-op with Aggie. We are about 2/3's of the way through.

I haven't even tried multiplayer yet.

Yeah, it's a lot like that except it's waaaaaaaay more co-op oriented. Gears is just a shooter that can be played with two people.
