That's how I felt. Then again, I didn't think that the three hour behemoth King Kong was all that long either. When there is substance to the movie, I usually don't mind the length. It's only when it's something as mindless as Transformers gets in the 2+ hour range that I start to get annoyed.

Does Clint Eastwood show the All Blacks getting poisoned the night before the Final? You'd think for authenticity sake he'd recreate Mark Ellis vomiting on the sideline just as the tv cameras cut to him during the game.

With the exception of comic book movies(because I'm still a huge comic book mark), I refuse to see movies that depend on CGI and special effects more than plot and character development. I wish more people saw things the same way. Maybe Michael Bay would go away.

Dude, then your missing out. AVATAR doesnt rely on CGI, its just a feature contained within the story of the movie. Do you know how many movies have a lot of CGI that is used to the right degree? Distrcit 9 is a great example.

I wanted the story to end when that girl's father was killed. There is way too much about this movie that makes zero sense.
 
It's supposed to be some sort of clever metaphor about the mistreatment of Native Americans and Manifest Destiny. It would have been much more clever if the Aliens didn't look like Blue Indians who used bows and arrows

Lol. You have no idea what you are talking about. Just because its in the future doesn't mean its The Jetsons. Everyone knows that the overall plot of the movie isn't original. The way they told the story is though. Comparing it to the Jetsons movie is hilarious.

Just got back from the movie.

Long as shit, but pretty good movie. Lots of action and some good drama toward the end. Only bad part is practically the whole story line is played out in the previews. Like I saw the previews and then when I saw the movie, I knew what was gonna happen... before it happened. lol

After watching the bad ass digital 3Dness, getting the Blu Ray seems pointless. It's never gonna look as good as it did the first time.
