Not sure if I'll get it yet, but Telltale makes some entertaining point-and-click games. I enjoyed playing the Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse series.

I've heard a lot of good things about this. I don't like point-and-click adventure games but BTTF is fucking cool.

Based on my experience with Sam & Max, it's basically a puzzle game where you're given clues on how to progress the story through dialog, cutscenes, and hints. You then explore the environments by pointing and clicking on objects to find what you need and/or talk to specific characters.

Telltale is about as advanced with the concept as possible, but a typical p&c adventure game is something like Monkey Island or Full Throttle, etc...games where puzzles are the focus, often humor, great writing, and story. Very little action, typically, and very rarely is there ever a "game over" in these games.

I would recommend checking out some of the old Lucasarts games, because they're phenomenal. I've tried to get into these newer remake things, but they just don't have the same appeal for me, sadly.

I'm not so sure. The trilogy just came out on bluray recently, which of course I bought.

They have a Jurassic Park game on the way. Some entertainment series' are just timeless.

I agree, there are alot of movies/shows that I wouldn't mind seeing come out on blu-ray and or game based on a console.

played the first one on PC and can't wait for the next episode.. very entertaining.. the puzzles are simple as hell but the dialogue is good and the people they got for the voice acting do a good job..

As Twigg pointed out, I was playing this to death today.

I like the game a lot.
You can tell Bob Gale and the game creators have a genuine love for the movie franchise.
The kid or adult voicing Michael J. Fox's character is a dead ringer.

At $19.99 the game is a good deal, especially when you get 5 episodes. On the iPad, you pay $6.99 for episode 1.

I played this for more than three hours today ... something I rarely do these days.
I kept wanting to play to see what would happen next. Very nice.

It is not a thumb jockey game, but if you're a big time Back To The Future fan (which I am), you're gonna love this game.

I played the demo last night but unfortunately it is very short. From the small amount I played it seemed pretty cool. I really didn't get to experience any interesting puzzles in the short demo though. I have never liked point-and-click before but I will probably end up getting this one.

You've wasted money on much worse, Twigg.
If you're a Back To The Future fan, you'll like or love this game.
And $20 is hardly criminal for a game.
Like I wrote in my post, it's obvious Bob Gale and the people who programmed this game love the franchise. I really respect that.

I've played both Episodes 1 and 2 on PC. Episode 1 seemed longer, but that may have just been because I was getting used to everything.

It's an enjoyable game. The Marty voice actor is really good, but the Doc one sucks (I'm kidding - they actually got Christopher Lloyd to do it).

It's interesting how

 

The McFly/Tannen interaction that's been going around since the late 1800s ends with Marty's generation - Biff has no kids (that we know of).
