Lets discuss which active third baseman has had the best career. Two guys stand out to me, Aramis Ramirez and Adrian Beltre. Lets look at the numbers.
Aramis Ramirez: 7613 PA, 343 HR, 1230 RBI, .286/.344/.503
Adrian Beltre: 8834 PA, 352 HR, 1232 RBI, .279/.330/.475
Adrian has a slight lead in HRs and RBIs, but that's because he has 1200 more plate appearances. Taking that into consideration, I think you have to go Aramis, no? He is a ribeye machine afterall! It's very close though, nothing really sets these two apart from each other. They're almost identical in all facets of the game.
