Coming into the season which division would you is the best and strongest in the NFL and why?

AFC South. Indianapolis and Tennessee are top quality teams, Jacksonville are right on their tails and Houston are playoff contenders.

The NFC East is the only division which comes close to the AFC South imo.

Cowboys = 9-7 last year, no playoffs

Eagles= 9-6-1, and couldn't beat the Bengals in 75 minutes of play

Redskins= 7-9, and brutal to watch

Giants= puttered down the stretch without their 1 WR and have yet to fill that hole


The NFC East is always horrendously overrated. It's competitive, sure, but that's because all the teams are mediocre enough to not be able to beat one another consistently. 'Skins are a joke, can't get over the 9 win hump...Eagles were looking so shitty at mid season that both McNabb and Reid were on the ropes, and the Cowboys proved to be a bunch of overpaid ass clowns that didn't even make the playoffs.

Other than the Super Bowl run by the G-Men, the NFC East has always consisted of 4 slightly-above average teams. The division is propped up as great because it is 4 recognizable and high profile teams. On the field however these teams to not live up to their "best division hands down" label.

LOL, the Eagles almost making the Super Bowl (and losing again, lol) last year = 3 of the 4 teams could have represented the NFC in the Super Bowl? The Eagles playoff run not withstanding, that division is full of 9-7 teams year after year. Any thought that they could send any team to the SB on a given year is laughable.

They are over hyped and overrated due to having so many large fan bases and media markets.

Eagles made it to the NFCCG (again)
