Comparing the Bengals to the Giants is unbelievably stupid. Aside from their D, the Giants have a solid run game and the most cohesive OLine in the league.
And no team lost as many key players for the time that Dallas did. You can say whatever you want, but the dropoff from Tony Romo to Brad Johnson is ridiculous. Losing Felix Jones changed the entire offensive philosophy. And even losing Matt McBriar hurt them, because the punter they replaced him with averaged nearly 8 fewer yards per punt.
Nevermind that a worthless backup like Cory Proctor played LG all year and Witten was a walking infirmary at the end of the year.
A healthy Tony Romo alone would have won 2 more games.
