You really can't get much better than the black Steelers and Raiders jerseys.

When I was a kid, I always thought the Steelers had the ugliest uniforms. Now that half these teams have switched to these wacky looking colors & patterns, the Steelers have drifted up to the middle of the pack.

Best throwbacks - Chargers powder blue unis

Worst throwbacks - Jets(Titans), Broncos brown and yellow, Eagles blue and yellow

Best Uniform change - Rams(dark navy/old gold), Broncos(dark navy/orange)

Worst Uniform change - Bengals, too much orange, too many stripes, looks like Richard Simmons designed it. They should go back to the Boomer era unis. Both the Bills and Pats should go back to the royal blue jerseys.

My totally biased opinion

1)

Timeless, mostly unchanging. Only thing I would change is the greenish tint that shows up in the pants, like here.

With the advent of HDTV, it's now unecessary. get rid of it.

I hate the blue ones. They need to bring back the negative of this jersey, which hasn't been seen since the Staubach era.

The star on the helmet completes the look.

Happy to see he 49ers go back to a jersey that emulates their classic 80s look. Also appreciative of how they encorporated the new logo and text into the uniform. Purely nostalgic purposes for me.

I have nothing but disdain for this team but I love their look. This color blue just looks cooler than their 90s version (maybe its the metallic color in the helmets). A monocrhrome look that doesn't come off as insisting on itself.


Bonus throwback:

Still can't for the life of me understand why the Rams dropped this look. It was one of the best I've ever seen. That they did it right after winning a Super Bowl just makes it work. If they wanted to make a new logo like they did with the ram's head, fine. They could have at least kept with the color scheme. Here's hoping when they eventually get sold they make a change back to this.
