Not sure on the contract situations in Milwaukee, but what are the chances of the Bucks trying to dump Redd's contract to bring in a supporting cast for Jennings. I think Michael Redd as the leading man hasn't really paid off, but maybe they can bring in some players to start building around solely Jennings.

They should have done this last year . At this point I don't see us making any moves with the team playing so well, but if we start to drift towards .500 ball I wouldn't be surprised if Redd is potentially traded. I wouldn't put money on it though.

Not really sure about the atmosphere in Milwaukee, so if anyone who follows them could provide insight.

From what I can tell the whole team seems to be pretty satisfied with the current situation, the crowd is much improved this season party thanks to Bogut's Squad 6, which multiple players have commented on via Twitter and interviews.

Their big signing year could be 2011-2012. Not sure who is available then FA-wise but that's when Redd's $18 million comes off the books. They only have $19 mill. committed that year.

Their current situation is okay, they have some flexibility as Ridnour, Thomas, Warrick, Alexander, Bowen, Elson all come off the books which saves them a decent amount of cash.

It's going to be VERY hard to find a taker for Redd. The only potential teams would be a playoff team with some expirings that the Bucks would want. So a Lakers, Magic, Boston-type team. Cleveland likely wouldn't take him as it hurts a little bit of their 2010 flexibility if they do indeed lose LeBron. With so many teams looking towards 2010 and attempting to hold onto their expiring deals, Redd is likely not going anywhere.

Not exactly a prime market or a city where black guys want to be. Hell, the Packers have to bring in guys just to give half their team a haircut.

So I guess my next question is, what kind of mentality does Michael Redd have? Is he a person who would be content with coming off the bench on a contender (LA, Orlando, Boston) since all three of those teams have established shooting guards in the starting lineup (Kobe, Carter, Allen)

I'm curious, because I wanted to know if a trade for some of Boston's expirings and maybe a pick would be a realistic possibility for Redd, and if Redd would be content with coming off the bench for a chance to win a ring. What exactly is the chance of a deal like this happening? I know that Boston would pull the trigger on this deal, but how likely is Milwaukee?

The thought of having Marquis Daniels, Rasheed Wallace, and Michael Redd coming off the bench makes me excited. Haha

You'd probably have to ask ATB on his thoughts as he hears from Redd much more than I do, but he strikes me as a good who would be more than fine with that. Especially at this point in his career, where he's maybe one more knee injury away from being done. He's got paid already, he went to the Olympics, he's had a pretty established career, so I'd imagine he'd welcome the idea of coming off the bench and being an instant offense type of guy.
