[PS3] Best Value

Which PS3 would you guys say is the best bang for its buck? How much better or worse is the slim over the original? How quickly do you guys fill up the space of your hard drives? What size would you suggest?

The 160gb one should be fine unless you plan on downloading a shit ton of content and don't plan on ever deleting anything. I have the 160 and still have plenty of room, and I game quite a bit. Also, I highly, highly doubt you are going to find a new system anywhere that isn't a slim.

As for bundles, look for one that comes with a game that you want to get. You can usually find a decent bundle with a decent game out there.

I have a 60GB that I upgraded to 500GB. I HAD 350GB of data on it. That is until it reformatted itself

I really wish I would've upgraded to a 500GB instead of a 320. So pissed at myself. I only have like 20GB left. Ugh.

If Sony would release a 500GB model I'd buy it right now because I need a new one anyway. But it;s pointless just to buy a new console with the same size hard drive.

The only non-slim worth getting is the launch one with backwards compatibility and the 30 usb/card reader slots. Even then though those versions have YLOD and blu-ray drive failures so I would just get a slim.

my launch ps3 died about 6 months ago and i picked up the infamous 2 360gb bundle.

it was the same price as a 160gb version so it was a no brainer to pick up the version with a "free" game and double the hard drive space.
