Biggest NFL Draft bust in your eyes?

It could be someone from your team, someone recent, someone from the past, whatever you want to post.

For my team, I would have to think Heath Shuler ranks pretty high. He was supposed to be the future after the Joe Gibbs era, and we all know what happened there.

In the NFL recently, I think both Ryan Leaf and JaMarcus Russell rank pretty high, as they both contributed next to nothing in the league.

Another interesting "bust" that I remember was the 2000 Draft, where two PSU defenders, Courtney Brown and LaVar Arrington, were picked at the top of the draft. Brown was a clear bust, and Arrington had some success in the NFL, but he didn't have the impact long-term that many expected him to have. His attitude was also questionable, and lead to his release from the Redskins at the time. It seems that bridge was repaired over time.

Brown was but only due to injury, the little bit he was healthy he showed the ability to dominate.

Gholsten... yep but that is partially to blame on the Jets tho. Guy was a dominant pass rusher from the 4-3 end position in college and they attempted to have him cover as a 3-4 OLB.

I would say biggest busts would have to be Leaf, Curtis Enis and Ki-Jana Carter.

Ryan Leaf is a no-brainer choice for me here.

As for the Titans, I'm gonna go against the grain and pick Kenny Britt. Top five talent at his position when healthy, but injuries and his own stupidity never allowed him to reach that level.

It really can't, Leaf and Russell had very different expectations. Leaf was the once-in-a-generation type QB like a Brady or Manning. JaMarcus Russell wasn't even the best player in his draft. Yeah I get he went #1 instead of #2, but Ryan Leaf was a much more complete player that completely flopped.

I considered adding Marcades in this list but he's been an average NFL TE, so we could do worse. Also thought about adding Monroe simply because he isn't with the team. Shack and Gene Smith really shit the bed in the draft.
