Yeah I stopped caring about the covers a long time ago. How often do you even look at the cover once the game comes out? The Show stays in my PS3 disc tray for a while, LOL.

I skipped '10 but will for sure jump on '11. Can't wait.

MLB '11: The Show First Look

I've been a fan of "The Show" franchise for many years now, and I have to say, the 2011 edition blew me away. I spent a full day playing the game, then the following week attended Sony's New York preview event where I sat down and played another full 9-inning game. When I got back to my hotel room following the event, I still couldn't get the game (or the awesomeness of Brian Wilson's polygonal beard) out of my mind. It's similar to how I felt the first time I saw "NBA 2K11," -- sometimes you just get that feeling that you're playing something special, and "MLB 11: The Show" is shaping up to be one of the biggest sports game of the new year.

Was the online still laggy last year? If they fix it, even though I haven't been interested in the MLB in ages, I would love to play this game.

I was very close to buying last years for the homerun derby alone but found out it wasn't online. Weak.

I remember when I think it was one of the World Series games for the Saturn, it was the first baseball game to have rain and rain outs. At first I thought it was awesome and considered buying a Saturn just for that game. But then someone reminded me, how lame would it be to have your game rained out and have to replay it? Not fun.
