Shoot, bros. ACTING MAKES a movie. That's why I don't like Keanu Reeves. He gets cast in movies with good directors or writers, but he sucks.
I don't like Pierce Brosnan, either. Unlike Sean Connery or even Daniel Craig, who have a certain swag to em, he's just bored the whole time. He has better intonation than "The One", though. "I. Am an FBI. Agent." GTFO here.
So, Boondock Saints 2 (I saw half of it, then me and my buddies went back to smoking bud and playing videogames) was... mediocre. The 'sexy chick' was more like 'decent'. Like, she's easily a seven or an eight, but she's no nine. And the acting was all bad. Like, just average, I guess. I don't regret seeing it. It didn't make me sick with myself....
But these movies seem to be heavily overrated here...

This thread brings the lulz. Saw the first one about 6 months ago, thought it was retardedly overrated. Decent movie, but incredibly cheesy and frankly, dated.
I kept wishing I were watching The Departed or any other good movie set in Boston. (except Boondock Saints was filmed in Toronto, LOL)
I haven't seen the 2nd one yet, but Knubb's rant on acting not mattering was pretty funny. That's like saying you don't mind watching a football team with a shitty quarterback and receivers who drop passes.
"Players?" What about the "players" didn't you like? So what if the "players" can't play for shit, just enjoy the team for what it is! As long as you go into it expecting the team to lose, you're gonna enjoy this team.

HA, wow, that scene in LA Takedown was absolutely awful. Bad acting along with bad dialogue, not to mention they just meet outside the coffee shop ready to shoot it out in broad daylight? lol.
Personally, after watching the scene from Heat right after the scene from LA Takedown, I was further impressed with DeNiro's acting. I miss that DeNiro.

The funny about about the dialogue is it's actually the same in both scenes, give or take a few minor words here or there. However, the acting is so bad, it just feels like bad dialogue.

Good point. There are some lines in LA Takedown ("I tell her I sell swimming pools"..wtf?) that were just downright funny. The whole scene had an awkward feel to it because both of the guys were awesomely awful.
