What I do know — from someone who worked closely with Josh and is someone I trust to tell me the truth — is that after the draft, McDaniels and the staff believed privately they made a big mistake on Moreno. He was not what they thought. He hasn't been tough, smart, motivated, if that's what you're asking. He has been a bust. I've said it before. He's not a great clubhouse guy. Interpret that how you want, and he's been a wimp on the field.

Sure, Knowshon is pretty close to Officially being declared a BUST. But I just don't buy the Broncos and McDaniel's giving up on this kid days after the draft...

McDaniels had MONTHS to prepare for that draft. It's not like in a game when you call the wrong play and Monday morning after watching game film, you're like, wow that was dumb. Which is exactly what that quote makes it sounds like.

McD didn't give up on Moreno until at least the entire season was over and he had an entire body of evidence to make a decision.

That quote sounds totally out of McD's personality, he's defiantly retarded enough to draft Knowshon that high, but waaaaaay to stubborn to admit it publicly days after. Especially to people that report to his boss.

IMHO, this sounds like McDaniels PR department trying to spin his first HUGE mistake of his head coaching career. it's like he's piling on Knowshon and trying to take some of the spot light off himself...

This thread should have been directed at McDaniels hate rather than Knowshon.

And really, we all know they are both Garbage, so why is this even news... I guess it gives more fun for the Bronco HATERS out there to post LOLBRONCOS, when in fact it should be LOLMCDANIELS...

either way, it doesnt really matter when McDouchebag realized NoShow was a bad pick, you gotta shake your head at a lot of the Broncos draft day decisions of late. PR scheme or not, unless he makes a huge turnaround this season, things are not looking up in Broncoland
