Steve Smith isn't a fan of Janoris Jenkins

I don't see what the big deal is. It's football.

This shit happens all the time. If I'm "disappointed" in anyone, it's the officials.

Smith is one of the fiercest competitors in the league. He has gotten this far because of it. How many other 5'9" wide receivers with shit bum quarterbacks their entire career even come close to sniffing Smiths nuts?

And for the record, a whole lot of these guys are mental head cases. I know w2b lives in some lollipop world where these guys don't like knocking the piss out of each other but the fact of the matter is that these dudes are egotistical, physical specimens who have had their asses kissed and dicks sucked for most of their lives. All their lives, whoever stepped to them, got dealt with physically one way or another.

Not every single one, but this story isn't surprising at all and neither are smiths actions.

I posted twice here and multiple times in the other thread on the same topic that the game was poorly officiated, which is why it got out of control. If you allow these animals to behave like animals, they will.

Doesn't change the fact that Smith is a classless piece of trash, and always has been. Doesn't shock me that people here defend him, which is pretty stupid, because if the league was full of players that behaved like Smith on a week to week basis, it would be a very unattractive product to watch.

I like how W2B glossed over my ACTUAL encounter and conversation with the man, as opposed to his and others opinions from watching him on TV. I never felt threatened at all going up to him. Nor did he give off the vibe that I should be. He was a cool guy. Liked the guy before meeting, like him even more after.

BTW, here's a pic from my phone from right after he got to the pool and got a drink. On the way back I slyly snapped a pic. I was surprised at how out of shape he looked in April in the midsection area.

I care nothing of anything that isn't football related. He could be Mother Theresa or father of the year or captain of the community watch program or whatever off the field for all I know or care. Means zero. My relationship with him as a fan ends at 4pm on Sunday when the game is over.

To me, Smith is probably the most unlikable pro athlete around, at least off the top of my head.

The intent of my statements in this thread and others couldn't have been more clear.

This idea that you need to have a personal encounter with an athlete to be able to form an opinion on him is odd to say the least.

The guy is a jackass, a classless piece of shit. I don't know how he treats his kids, his wife, his neighbors, how well he tips, if he's racist, if he's religious, if he recycles, how he treats his dog, or if he's nice to his mother. Nor do I care. On the field, he's an asshole.

I think a big difference is Smith is always looking for a fight. Owens was just constantly seeking attention, either due to low self esteem or because he was in love with himself. Can't figure out which.

I think it would be easier to defend Owens. Smith to me is unstable and always looking for a fight. Both are weird and unstable, but in different ways. Smith isn't going swallow a bottle of pills or cry over his QB. He's busy punching teammates.

As you know i'm no fan of Finnegan, and have not defended Jenkins in any of these threads. Jenkins is an idiot, and Finnegan is another guy who is supposedly is Mr. Cool Guy off the field, but I give no fucks because he's an abrasive asshole on it.

As noted in the other thread, Fisher promotes that borderline dirty style of play as well, which drives me nuts. Just play the game. I don't need the trash talk and the extra curriculars.

The Panthers fan who posted is clearly taking up the party line. Not me. Jenkins is an asswipe. Never defended him once. I'm also also generally very critical of Finnegan & Fisher for similar issues.
