Agents of Shield is hardly a ratings juggernaut. And this week it dropped a lot, lost nearly 25% of it's viewers. Bets are it is a 1 and done season for that show. The ratings juggernaut at 8PM is NCIS followed by the voice.

Which is hardly impressive in its second week, as ABC's #1 promoted new show with a huge budget and a lot riding on it as a flagship powerhouse on the network. Agents of Shield will end as well as other network shows like Flash Forward, The Event, Bionic Woman, Terra Nova, Alcatraz. A 14 year old 10pm show, CSI, still beats its ratings, as does a 27th season Survivor.

I've read plenty of articles on B99 today. Word is the show will most likely get renewed. Almost guaranteed. While Dads and Mindy Project get the axe. Fox usually gives stars a guaranteed season. They decide on giving the axe during the 2nd season. New Girl had the same issues in the first season as the NG and MP.

B99 doesn't need to pull in 8-10 million viewers the way AoS does.

There's way too much talent on that cast and the production is inexpensive enough that they could probably hover around 2-4 million viewers and get a second season.

I love Raising Hope.. The Jewish musical episode was especially amazing.

Greg Garcia left the show to focus on like 8 pilots for CBS though so I really hope they don't ruin it.

He's the showrunner on the Gob Bluth/Mags Bennett show, "We're the Millers"

“We’re not the farting show that some have made us out to be,” Garcia tells TVGuide.com with a laugh. “I’d like to say it’s not starting to bother me, but it’s starting to annoy the hell out of me. There’s a minute of farting — not even farting — fart jokes in the pilot. It’s a minute of a 21-minute pilot… and then it becomes every headline. There’s a scene with a few jokes and a callback at the end. It’s not like, ‘Oh my God, my farting mother has moved in with me! What the hell am I going to do?’ The basic fact is: If it wasn’t getting laughs, it wouldn’t have stayed in.”

They need to move off Tuesday nights.. They're getting killed because dads is a shit lead in and by the time the show starts people have already invested into the hour long dramas the other networks are putting out at 8.

That said.. Its right there with The New Girl and FOX gave that show a couple seasons to get its bearings and they extended Mindy even though it was on cancellation lists all last year.

I really can't see FOX just cutting bait with the show that has their most talented comedic roster when they've given similar shows leeway very recently.

They are going to keep it around, and pump money into it with hopes it will give them something. Typical Fox, following in the footsteps of NBC type terrible moves. Keep shit performing shows because you like one actor or two and hope they pay dividends, when in reality they won't (coughAmy Poehler Tine Feycough)

Fox picked this up for a full season, and are also giving it the post Super Bowl spot.
