Bulls

So, the Bulls are 15-7 without Derrick Rose. Does anyone remember when everyone was saying Rose wasn't playing with anyone? If Rose gets healthy and Deng, Noah, etc continue to play with some fire do you guys think Chicago can contend with Miami? Hepefully Rose is healthy for the playoffs, because Chicago could make things interesting for Miami.....if not Miami is going to run through the east making it sort of meh.

It's amazing how well they've done without Rose. I think as long as the Bulls have a matchup with Miami they have a chance. The team will never quit against them, it's a matter of the unknowns (Rip, Boozer, Deng, and Noah) showing up for 4 games in a series against them.
 
I agree, if Rose is healthy and the rest of the team continues to play with the effort they've shown I could see them pushing Miami to 7 games. As you said, the question is how the role players perform when Rose gets back, because roles will change.
 
The Bulls could definitely beat the Heat or the OKC in a series if Rose is healthy. I don't see how anyone could argue otherwise. If Rose isn't healthy, well, they might be able to push it to 6.

Time is running thin on Rose coming back and finding his niche with the team again. Im not sure they'll be able to find that before the playoffs start. Call me nuts but it almost seems like the team is better off without him ATM, when hes in the game the rest of the guys arent as motivated to step up, or the offense just stops in Rose's hands.. either way right now the team may be better suited to playing without him.

To be fair, he went 1-13 tonight so he's not his usual self yet.

Not really sure what was wrong about that.

The Bulls are 2-0 when Rose scores less than 3 points this season vs Miami.

Take it for what you want, those two games showed that Rose doesn't have to outgun the big 3 with 40 points for the Bulls to have a chance to win against the most talented team in the NBA.

Yeah back-to-backs don't happen in the playoffs and the depth advantage the Bulls have becomes more of a wash.
