Aside from the HUD in GRAW, I thought it played pretty realistically. It was much more tactical.

u notice nobody makes tactical shooters anymore? operation flashpoint was the last one and it sucked. Whatever happened to the greatness that was rainbow six vegas?

the 2nd one was pretty shiity, and arrived around the same time as COD4 exploded on the scene. but i would have thought ubisoft would have tried to trump COD4 with a new rainbow six by now.

i miss those great tactical shooters

The playlist categories for Black Ops are "Core", "Hardcore", "Barebones" and something that they haven't talked about yet, "Prestige playlists". Please note that the playlists and categories below are NOT confirmed to be in the final version of the game. More playlists can change either before the game is completed or through playlist updates after release.

There are also the Wager Match categories which involve the Buy-In limit and they're not negotiable at this time. The three Wager Match categories are "Ante Up" (allows parties, low buy-in), "Weekend Gambler" (no parties, medium buy-in) and "High Roller" (no parties, expensive buy-in).

The current CORE category on the latest development build includes:

* Team Deathmatch (12 players)
* Merc Team Deathmatch (No parties)
* Free for All (8 players, no really large maps)
* Domination (12 players)
* Ground War (18 players, TDM and DOM, no super small maps)
* Search & Destroy
* Capture the Flag (12 players)
* Headquarters (12 players)
* Demolition (12 players)
* Sabotage (12 players)

The current HARDCORE category on the latest development build includes:

* Team Deathmatch (12 players)
* Search & Destroy (12 player)
* Free for All (8 player)

The current BAREBONES category on the latest development build includes:

* Bones TDM (12 players, Team Deathmatch, everything disabled. No Perks, Kilsltreaks, Attachments, or Contracts)
* Classic TDM (12 players, killstreaks at 3, 5 and 7 levels like MW1 did)


The Wager Matches are completely separate from the normal ranked matches. When switching lobbies over to Wager Matches you will see different categories and playlists.

The ANTE UP (Free-for-all based, 6 players, low buy-in, parties allowed) category includes:

* One in the Chamber
* Sticks and Stones
* Gun Game
* Sharpshooter

The WEEKEND GAMBLER (Free-for-all based, 6 players, medium buy-in, no parties allowed) category includes:

* One in the Chamber
* Sticks and Stones
* Gun Game

I love barebones(its all i play when i do play MW2), but i dont like the stripping of attachments. Those were fine, taking the perks out is great, but i saw no problems with having attachments.

lol @ the noob weapons. This is just going to be MW 2.0 with less rage. A Flamethrower attachment, what looks like a redeemer wannabe @ the 2:10 mark, and the stupid car just scream noobness and rage to me.

yea the flamethrower is a pretty gay attachment, just gonna replace the shotgun cheese.... the RC car shoulda been 5 kills to get it cuz it's basically like a predator missile where you're almost guaranteed to get a kill with it and you can't do anything about it

I agree but that car scene did make me laugh. It looked the enemy player saw it coming and was running for his life. LOL.

It needs adjusting. It should be timed(30 secs maybe?) for one, and it should blow up if you run into something.

Theres no way that the flamethrower is going to be as bad as the underbelly shotgun. That thing can snipe people from across the map. No way a flame can do that.

Yea whatever goes up, has got to come down

We were playing this one game a couple weeks ago, this mofo, calls in a 3 harriers and an AC130 before he even gets to 15 kills. I go ahead and knock everyone of the harriers down, but then that damn AC130 was a pain in the ass. By the time I got to my 3rd stinger, I had to have myself get killed for that, the domination match was over, we won, but it was over.

So second game the bitch does the same thing, this time I knock that AC right out of the frikkin sky, he then quit. LOL.

There are 2 times I have knocked down an AC130 using just 2 stingers, the second shots were just lucky as shit. Usually the first 2 stingers take out the countermeasures from the aircraft, the 3rd one splits it up nice, but those 2 times I don't know how i knocked the thing out of the air.

i'll get this for both consoles, but i can see myself playing it more for ps3, as long as you fools get the Zombie maps as well (Hardened mode)
