I know you don't mean to sound like a dick, but people who get into a fight over their favorite sports teams are scum...whether alcohol is involved or not.

Right, I know that and agree wholeheartedly. I'm just saying that I understand what's going on in their heads. I'm just a very self-aware person and anytime I have a lot of anger, rage, frustration, whatever... I try to reflect on it and do some self-counseling.

I'm a pretty calm dude (despite the quantity of groans I fling out on here, lol) and I'm just amazed that the whole event kept me up last night. Like I said, I wasn't raging or punching walls or anything like that. It was just that I could tell that I was a few degrees away from boiling and I'm positive that being physically in a situation like a stadium or bar with a bunch of bozos talking shit, etc... I can see how those fights happen.

Like, with my friends and in social situations, I'm usually the calm one who's talking everyone down. Oh well, just something I noticed that really surprises me.

Quentin looks like an ass in all of this. 3-2 count, 1 run game, no way Greinke intentionally hits him. If that is the case, Greinke is a fucking idiot...and I tend to think he isn't. Quentin also has a history of getting hit once every 10.xx plate appearances. Guy leans in a lot. IMVHO, there was an issue between the two and Quentin wanted to fight, he just needed a reason. He used getting hit as that reason. No way Greinke hit him on purpose. IF he wanted to hit him on purpose he does it with the first or second pitch of the AB.

No, I'm not kidding you. Yes, Greinke is a pitcher with great stuff, but what has he actually proven? Cy Young? No. 20-win season? No. World Series MVP or even close? No. Historic stats? No. When the Dodgers announced that signing, my reaction was the same as the Boston Red Sox trade ... are you kidding? The guy has never won more than 16 games in a season and has admitted he has a personality disorder. I am not bashing him for that, but I am also not handing him a $147-million contract.
