In the CFL if someone kicks or punts the ball in the other teams end zone that team has to get the ball out or it counts as a point. Essentially there is no kneel down. Seeing as that was the final play in the game if the other team didn't get it out of the endzone it would of been a "rouge" and the FG kicking team would of got a point.

As far as punting it out. Wiki explains it good:

On punts and field goal attempts (but not kickoffs), members of the kicking team, other than the kicker and any teammates who are onside (behind the kicker at the time of the kick), may not approach within five yards of the ball until it has been touched by the receiving team.

The five yard thing is you have to give the other team 5 yards when catching the kick. Unlike the NFL there is no fair catch in the CFL but players have to give 5 yards to the recieving player.

Long story short this is a good example of what makes the CFL awesome. They don't have pussy ass NFL rules. I almost lol @ some of you fools like Nashte. Stick to your pussy ass league where if you do a TD celebration you get a flag. GTFO of here with that shit.

You cannot honestly be defending the rules of that game and what happened. I mean that was full retard right there.
