2011 Poster Of The Year
I'm legitimately pumped. They should do this every year, I'm way more excited for the start of the season now that I had to wait.
Anyway, I think it's obvious that the most exciting game of the day is Lob City-W's but very much looking forward to the others as well.
In a world where economics were not a factor, I would say that starting on Christmas with a quintuple header and playing a 60 or 65 game schedule would be perfect for the fans.
That length of games is just long enough to be legitimate without the drag that 82 games produces. Starting everything on Christmas instead of "random day x" in November creates anticipation and makes opening night special.
To continue this fantasy, I would shorten the playoff schedule so it doesn't take 2 months. I'd have at least one back-to-back set of games in each series, and never more than one day off in between games. Some of these playoff series schedules are outrageous in how spread apart the games are. You have these exciting games, and then have to wait three days for the next one. It hurts the flow and casual fans lose interest.
