Unless it's something I've been looking forward to (like DA: I), I'll spend a week w/ the newest flavor of the week and move on.

Since I've gotten the PS4, I've only finished AC IV, TLoU and a few more but that's it.

More like gaming ADD... It would drive my OCD wild to play and not finish games like you do lol.

When I was at GS today, I looked down at the list of upcoming games...

I was afraid having jet packs would just add to the frantic pace of the online multiplayer but I am pleasantly surprised to see things are really well balanced. I haven't enjoyed a COD game this much in a long time (so far).

Thoughts So Far:

 

-The Campaign (as to be expected) is dumb fun.

Feels like an extension of Black Ops II in the way future-tech melds w/ modern military stuff.

Just seeing in the first two missions how ATLAS Corp. is basically Google if Google made shit that killed people effectively and to the highest bidder.

-DID NOT like that for all the facial mapping, etc., the NPCs all still look like lifeless mannequins and/or robots that wear masks that look like actors.

It's creepy and ALSO, you can tell when the NPC mouths are still moving to try and match up w/ what dialogue is used.

-Definitely at least try out the SP Campaign FIRST so you can get a sense of what all's included in this game.

The LAST thing you want to do is try to use the grenades and find out that you've been setting then wrong the entire time and THAT's the reason your K/D went to shit.

Also, you can get a feel for the different guns, sights and gear the game will throw at you.

Until you play the game yourself, you're only going to hear hearsay and allow reviews done by media professionals that don't devote every waking moment to the COD franchise to cloud your judgment.

If you're feeling froggy, you can brave YouTube and watch some footage/hot takes from a basement dweller that can't string a sentence together w/o using "gay", "faggot", "queer", "bitch" or some other derogatory.

Any comments on system comparisons?

Looks like XB1 scales from 1360x1080 to full 1080p running steadily at 60 fps, PS4 runs at full 1080p but runs consistently between 51-54 fps.
