Can't you do split screen online? I know you could in Black Ops.

I purchased an adapter that cost me $35 on amazon called the XCM crossfire adapter plus. Downside is you have to use a wired controller but it works great. They make one for wireless but its like $130

They also make plenty thord party controllers for the PS3 that are designed like a 360 controller. My wife has one that is Batman themed. It's wireless and works very well.

i have tried the crossfire adaptor before and it had dead zones in the sticks. i have not tired any 3rd party controllers.

twigg, can u find out what model your wife is using and ask her if it works perfectly or not? thanks

Someone fucked up and put Mass Effect 2 on the second install disc for the boxed PC version.

played a few games this morning. not having any issues like the the entire PC community is going on and on about. each mode has its own start up icon so each mode had to be installed upon playing...took about 2 mins for each. only playing MP...hardcore is open right away (past game is played were level 19) games played super smooth and found matches rather quickly to my surprise

any steam online people able to help me out with my headset issue?

im using a wired 360 controller and a 360 headset. my steam settings for voice has both the mic and headset enabled and the tests work just fine. My W7 sounds settings are also setup with the headset earphone as the default communication device for playback and mic is the default communication device for recording...

speakers are the default device for playback

when i go into the game i can only hear people out of my speakers and i dont think anyone can hear me cause nobody responds and the even in the lobby your speaker icon will generally light up when you talk...i get nothing. on 360 that speak icon lights up when u speak...so i assume it would do that on PC too

when i look at the Black Ops 2 sound tab in the game options it shows my speakers as the device being used and there is no option for my headset...voice chat is enabled.

I'm inclined to think there is a problem with Black Ops 2, but can you test your headset/mic on another game to make sure?

Just got back from Redbox with a copy for the 360. Have to say, I feel much better about myself this year only spending $6 or so rather than $60 lol.
