Couple Announcements, New CM's

Happy to have survived. I think that a lot of what CM's do goes under the radar. I do a lot of thread title changing when I see a title misspelled (ie, Bucky's "Teacher puts kids on blats/blast" thread which I corrected after having it hurt my head for a few days). I know Woy has done some thread merging when there are two or three threads on the same topic.

A lot of it is just maintaining the aesthetics. Obviously things being spelled correctly is preferable to them not be, or having one topic with 10 replies looks better than two redundant replies with 5 each.

I'm not saying this to toot my own horn, or Woy's, or to be like "SEE, I TOLD YOU WE DO SHIT!" ... more to welcome the new CMs into the fold and give them a pretty surefire way to make an impact without even abusing any power or whipping out the trusty ban stick. (There's plenty of time for that too though. :smug

Run the league for a little bit and sure we have no problem giving you "your blue". The only reason you lost the blue was because you admittedly removed it yourself and didn't get on VSN for a month leading us to believe you were done with the site.

We don't want to hand out cushy/BS spots to people anymore, hell we made Heels a CM 3-4 times and we're still waiting on some shred of productivity to come from any of those instances.

So I suppose Heels is right, you shoulda da der learned der lesson by now.

I didn't remove the blue as in "I'm leaving this place", I actually switched myself to Admin so I could see something that I couldn't as a blue, then switching back I picked the wrong thing and fucked it up. I wasn't on a month cause I had to move my fuckin office and was busy, admittedly didn't expect to be back like I was. But my demoting myself was simply a dumb mistake, but at a time I didn't really care.


In the end, yer both right, delete the MLB league and cancel my request, seriously. I'm not going to fuckin beg you like a bitch any longer. I offered my help and you can't be bothered to let me.

So suck my balls sir, I'll take my talents to... South Beach. Leagues can continue to suck cock here and I won't ask again.

The entire staff problem we've had at VSN is handing out spots to people based on what they intend to do. If the color of your username dictates whether or not you wish to run the league here, I am sorry the HTML mark-up code on your username dictates that.

This site cares way too much about the damn color of their usernames lol.

Aside from your posts in this thread right now about your username color, I haven't gotten any messages on AIM, email, or my PM inbox about getting you the privileges that you require to run your league. Had you went through those mediums to contact me, Leftwich, or Argath about taking care of you, I would logically agree with you on us being fuckwads and not helping you, help us.

Dude flip flops and gives the impression that he's trying to give a fuck and please the members but really he doesn't have a plan, let alone a clue. The latest reorder of the forums and new CMs was the equivalent of shining up a turd.

Fact of the matter is, and it's something I learned from SL, the time for serious leagues has passed. UNLESS, you're based on a site whose sole purpose is to support those leagues, you're not going to grow. This is something VSN obviously isn't, but I guess this is what Rush wants.

I would truly care about the fuckin color of my name? Did I not say this when I folded SL and came back here and instead of being admin and red, I was "dark blue" with modified permissions to what I wanted?

Make my name fuckin regular user grey for all I fuckin care, or make it gold just to piss off Palooza. All I've wanted is to run leagues and do what I do, I thought that was fucking clear as day in what I've talked about when I bring this up.

Do you realize, outside of these last couple posts, you haven't mentioned shit about having the functionality to run your leagues?

You have never IMed me, emailed me, or PMed me about this. How can you possibly expect anybody to know if you don't let them know?

The one time you mentioned it in the chatbox, you didn't mention you needed a.) b.) and c.) for your leagues. You only mentioned "hey rush make my name blue".

If you need league functionality, there is a usergroup completely outlined for managing leagues that Epidemik has had since day 1 that VSN started back up. If you need that, I have no problem giving it to you. You never informed me of such.

I got what I wanted, it's already over. I thought I was clear when I said "I wanna do stuff, but can't cause I'm not blue" implied what I wanted, but then I remembered I was talking to Rush, so I pm'd him a paint by numbers and everything is ok now. No big deal.


Also, I think a grey username suits you just fine old man.
