Court Denies EA's Motion to Dismiss Keller Lawsuit

the ncaa basketball lawsuit was based off of the historical rosters in the game, so the simple solution there is to only have rosters/players currently in the ncaa.

my take on the keller lawsuit is that when your a collegiate athlete you cannot be paid for playing sports, so what will happen is most likely EA will pay keller to GTFO and hope no one else sues.

ncaa football is to much of a cash cow game for them. madden and ncaa are their two biggest summer releases

I agree CLW. The only thing I can see is them making the players sign a waiver. If they don't sign, then they won't be in the game. I refuse to play the game if it's generic players.

Honestly, I am sick and tired of these claims against the NCAA Video Games. Who the hell cares if they use your likeness? If it were me, I would think that it's pretty sweet to have a player model just like me implanted into the game. And besides, people out there are going to make rosters according to every player, so why not just go ahead and saves those lifeless losers a month by making the players already perfect? And why would you not wanna be in a video game?
