You could reasonably give Manning the MVP every season. Just like Michael Jordan, the only reason Manning doesnt win it is because it gets boring.

Maybe if the Colts would invest in a decent backup QB. I hope Manning gets injured just so the Colts can be obliterated every game because Curtis Painter is awful. I wouldn't trust him as my practice squad QB.

Not naming names but I do see this a lot here, people using ratings from madden when deciding who is better than who, especially when comparing QB's. Get NFL Sunday ticket and actually watch these players, then you will have a better sense on who is better than who. stats in football only tell part of the story so going off them is not really any better. watch the Damn games, if you don't think manning deserves his MVP's then you are either blind or ignorant. its ok if you don't understand we'll help you, the issue isn't did he deserve it, but rather how good does another player have to be to take that away from him. best QB in the league I don't care how many rings Brady has.

And, Manning is supposed to put up better numbers than Brady. The Colts emphasize offense. Manning has better offensive players around him. I like how some say you can't hold lack of rings against Manning and instead go by stats when Brady's offense hasn't been the Pats focus. Then we bring up the year Manning didn't have WR's, TE's due to injury (and put up good numbers), while ignoring the year Brady had actual offensive weapons and put up (and with some stats exceeded) Manning type numbers.

So it's OK to hold Brady's lack of offensive talent against Brady, but not hold Manning's lack of rings against him? I say, let's be fair about this.

The only thing I'll say about this is anyone that argues that there is a distinguishable difference between Manning and Brady has either an axe to grind or hasn't watched the NFL as closely as they should in the last 10 years.

Manning will most likely hold every NFL passing record when he's through. He also has a ring.

Brady quarterbacked the Pats to 9 straight palyoff victories and 3 Super Bowls. He also broke Manning's single season passing TD mark in 07.

Coming up with what if scenarios is essentially pointless. But let's not let the facts stand in the way of a 14 page argument lol.

yes there is...Brady lost to Manning( Eli) twice, in the biggest game of the year...both Mannings are better than Brady on a individual basis, but Brady has been on better collective teams .....Brady's great for sure..he probably would have been better if he had a dad with a long NFL career........?
