Yeah, edgar has no draw power. Till they get a guy who can draw people for Lightweight titles like a Cerrone or a Pettis or evn a Maynard they have to stack all lightweight title fights or make them free. I mean an interim bantamweight championship fight did more buys. :lol:

eh, I agree but, Faber is some what of a draw and Aldo has had 200k buys when he is on the card. I'm also expecting his next bout to break 300k. I'm not saying they are big draws but, they can get buys. I just think if Cruz is headlining or Henderson/Edgar is headlining it won't do well. The UFC rreally needed Faber to beat Barao and now they are fucked.

It won't take 'a lot', it will just take somebody charismatic to come along.

The top draws in boxing are all under 170. These things are just a product of luck & timing more than anything else.

BJ was a draw at his most dominant at 155...then he fell off a cliff for whatever reasons.

I'm not sold that Faber could have been a draw in the UFC unless he beats Cruz last year. Everything about him just screams past his prime and most of the other top guys are better.

Faber would have been a draw 6 or 7 years ago. He was past his peak when he came to the UFC.

Again, these things are a product of luck & timing more than anything else. Somebody will come along at a lower weight and draw. MMA will eventually have their Pac Man or PBF or Oscar.

It's not like there is some magic button the UFC isn't pushing. They have a policy in place where title fights *must* go on last, so it's not like they don't try to give fans the idea that the lower weights matter. Nobody is clicking, just like 6 years ago when the heavyweights weren't clicking. Nothing you can do about it.

From a Wrestling View point I would say being the guy in WEC made him that Draw, in UFC hes just one of the little guys ... Just like Egar

When you can sell out Sacramento, get twice the ratings they get when they headline someone else, I don't care what you call it, he would be a star anywhere, he just lost the main part, he wasnt winning anymore, he ended his WEC run with multiple title losses, he has those same fights during his streak in the UFC he is twice the draw of Aldo

Even the Pulver fights would have been big in the UFC, Uriah was getting Amp and all these sponsorships for a reason, he is a star
