I'll just add your comments on him are spoken like someone who hasn't seen the Ravens play recently. They were a passing team last year, not a running team, and that will probably be even more true this year now that they have Boldin. So saying Flacco is just Trent Dilfer with a stronger arm is completely wrong.

Let's say Drew Brees never wins another playoff game. Would dave's ranking look so bad in hindsight? Everyone who wins a SB is always massively overated the next year. If Favre runs out of bounds for a 4 yard gain, and the Vikings go on to beat Indy, you'd have people putting Favre #1 and Brees around #10, and no one would blink. Brees had trouble performing in the clutch his entire career before last year. Every bounce and break went the Saints way. I think #4 is fair. Guy had a nothing resume for 8 yhears. He's no lock to repeat anything he did last year.

I think anyone who isn't blinded by homerism would take Rodgers over Romo. That was his first playoff game and he played pretty damn well. Also, Rodgers had a great season last year, not good.

Rodgers has had two very good seasons and if you compare the stats: Rodgers had a higher TD % and a lower INT % (actually leading the league in that stat). His completion percentage was higher and their ypa were the same. So statistically in Rodgers second season he's better than Romo. If you wanna talk about playoffs, is it Rodgers fault that the Green Bay defense gave up 45 points?

Rodgers has had only two good seasons? Romo has had only three good seasons. How many 'good seasons' does it take to be considered top 5? Is three the magic number?

You could put Rivers over Rodgers but I would take Rodgers over Favre and Roethlisberger, yes.
