Rocky III would have boxed up Rocky IV and won by decision, I dont even think he wins a round

HE IS IRON!

Rocky IV by decision. He takes over the second half of the fight and wins.

Rocky II has the heart and knock out power that other Rockys wish they had. Only IV comes close, and its merely because he had hate in his heart. He doesn't hate Rocky II...so...Rocky II wins the whole damn thing.

To me, his prime was III. Remember the montage with 10 title defenses? And he wasn't considered old & washed up, just not as good as Lang.

After training with Apollo he had his toughness plus the speed and technique, he was fast, he decisions slow ass Rocky IV who just is looking to land the haymaker

Rocky III work outs Rocky IV and doesnt even loss a round

Rocky II or Rocky IV.

Rocky III by admission of the movie couldn't get past 3 rounds with Lang. Tough to call it his "prime" if he was unable to last any longer than 3 rounds with the top contender.

Ranking Rocky's as far as their "primeness"

Rocky IV
Rocky II
Rocky III
Rocky I
Rocky Balboa
Rocky V

Rocky II beat the best boxer of the series in Creed.

Rocky IV beat the monster that was Drago and went 15 rounds with him. Saying he was only looking for the haymaker isn't really true as Rocky's strategy for that fight was to wear down/chop down Drago over the course of the fight. On top of this it was post Rocky III so he obviously still had the memories/experience of what Creed had taught him about more technical boxing in the previous fight.

Rocky IV was about taking punishment, he would have hit Rocky III, would have been a schooling, he didnt even land a clean shot on Drago for a couple rounds, he was just looking for power shots

He didnt even spar for christs sake!

Plus he was already retired, lifting Paulie and Adrian in a carriage isnt going to help with a freshly Apollo trained Rocky III, he would have got boxed up

Rocky II beats them with sheer heart, determination, elite chin, and knock out power.

Never underestimate the guy who wants it more...Rocky II wants it more than any other Rocky. Rocky I got a little taste...but Rocky II was like a crack head looking for a hit...nothing could stop him.

Rocky II still would have lost that fight if Apollo got up, he was down on the cards, Rocky II wouldnt beat Rocky III because he wouldnt have KO'd him like he did Apollo

Sorry to tell ya, you're wrong, no way he KO's Rocky III and no way he wins the decision, he basically has no way to win

Only one that gives Rocky III a good run is Rocky IV because he was more of a power puncher, but like I said, no way a guy comes out of retirement and doesn't even spar a round in training camp beats Rocky III, it just wouldnt happen, he gets beat to the punch every time and Rocky III wins the decision easily

In Rocky III, he has a 10 fight win streak after the Apollo fight and before the first Mr. T fight. The Thunder Lips fight was an exhibition.

So...in Rocky III, 11-1 alone.

Spider Rico doesn't really count...but I guess if you do...
