Good deal. I probably won't be able to get enough strange coins tonight to get anything from Xur before he closes up shop but I'll be ready for next weekend. Looks like I'll be running the Iron Banner bounties pretty hard on Monday.

xur is selling icebreaker - it cost 13 SCs.
u wanna get that for sure . i would grind to het that.
just grind strike play list.

what lvl are u now and how many SCs u have now

I've got 8 strange coins now. I'm pretty sure the Ice Breaker is 17. There are 6 coins if I do the weekly strike but I would need help to do a level 26 strike.

That's what I'm going to do until somebody can help me do the strike for the 6 coins. I just need to grind 3 out of the strike list.

at 27, u can do anything.......including Raid CE

Ditto that. Humble also got one of his friends to jump in and help complete a few bounties to help get my one piece of legendary armor upgraded to push me to level 27. Then they carried me through the level 30 heroic strike to get the 9 strange coins I needed for the Ice Breaker. Much appreciated!

I was able to do a little grinding tonight in the Crucible. I was hoping to get to Iron Banner level 3 so that I could buy some of that armor but there's not enough time. I did level up in the Crucible though and was able to buy some new legendary gauntlets and leg armor. I also got lucky and had a Silimar's Wrath legendary auto rifle drop on the post game screen on my final match of the night (purchase requires Iron Banner level 5 and 11,500 glimmer). Now I just need a new helmet and I'll be over level 28 easily and can focus on upgrading my armor.

hard mode Crota starts tonight

last night we ran Norm Crota with all 31s (legit or downgraded gear). without the Chalice.
2 of us used Red Death primary for Health regen - works like a charm.
gotta feeling that hard mode is going to be without a Chalice anyway

I've got to do one of these Crota runs when I get back to town. Thanks again for helping me out on that weekly mission last night Humble! I'll have enough coins next weekend to get an exotic helmet and should be getting close to level 30 after I upgrade some armor.

Did my first nightfall strike last night and got a Legendary Scout rifle to go with my fully upgraded Auto Rifle. Going to run VoG for the first time tonite

Beat hard mode once and got another started, will fi b is it twice tonight. Got the auto rifle and a helmet finally. Vault of glass is still a tougher raid and much better fun wise.
